Janey sat in her room holding a picture of her and Devin from their last reunion when he came to visit her in Rhode Island. Devin and Janey were so close to being together. It all came crashing down with Devin ended it all. He ended their chances. He couldn't wait for Janey to make up her mind. Janey lost her opportunity. She regretted it. All she wanted to do was go back to Texas and tell Devin how much he meant to her. How they have been through so much together. How he's the only only one she wants to face ups and downs with. He is her only true love and she can never love a man the same way she loves him.

Janey thought about going to Texas and telling him how she felt. She couldn't... he wouldn't want to see her. He told her that it was over. Now Janey knew how Devin felt when she pushed him away so many times.

Jessica held the chapter that she had gave to  David to read. She read over it one last time. She paced around her kitchen with a beer. She kept thinking that maybe she needed to fight for Danny. She couldn't let him slip through her fingers. She cared for him too much.

Jessica grabbed her phone and dialed Sarah.

"Sarah?" Jessica says anxiously

"Jessica, are you crazy? It's two in the morning." She says in a groggy tone.

"I think I am crazy. Im going to Minnesota."

"I know you are, in a few days. How does that make you crazy?"

"No, I'm going tomorrow. I'm buying a ticket and leaving tomorrow."

Sarah was silent for a moment. "What? Why!"

"Danny... I love him. I want him. I need him. I can't let him go. I've tried too hard to get past this but I can't!" Jessica whines

"Oh my god, jessie."

"I'm crazy? Aren't I?"

"You are crazy in love..."

"I don't know if I'll come back to New York. I don't know what's going to happen. Maybe I shouldn't do this. Danny said it's over. Right? I can't do this!"

"Stop doing this! You have to do it! You have to fight for Danny. You need to march up to his door step and tell him how you feel."

Jessica takes a deep breath then sighs. "Am I doing the right thing?"

"I can't tell you. Do you think you are going the right thing?"

...

"Jess?"

"Yes. I'm doing the right thing. I know I am."

"You aren't crazy."

"What if he still doesn't want me."

"What if he still does?"

Jessica didn't get any sleep that night. She packed up all her things and bought a plane ticket. While she was awake she kept replaying what she'd say to Danny. She couldn't believe herself. She didn't think she'd ever find herself getting ready to fly to another state so she could pour her heart out to a man who may not even want to see her. That didn't matter. If Jessica didn't do this she'd never be able to live with herself. If Danny still believed that they had their chance she'd have closure.

Jessica organized everything perfectly. Her plane took off at five pm. Ann was going to pick her up and take her back to her apartment. Jessica planned to drive to his house directly from Ann's. Her heart raced. She was overwhelmed with feelings. She knew it would all be worth it.
