Fun Adventure I Was Never Informed About

I laid in the backseat, staring at the roof of the car, bored.

"So, where we goin?" I asked the driver. "Aren't you a little old to be driving? What's your name? How old are you? I'm assuming you know rich boy back there, so this must be his idea."

I kept asking questions. I didn't feel like shutting up. Maybe if I annoy this guy enough, he'll throw me out, and I can walk back to my hideout. That depends on how far we are. We have to still be in the city, so it couldn't be far.

It felt like we were going in circles.

"Are we almost there?" I asked sitting up, annoyed at the silence that followed my questions.

I wasn't given an answer, but the car screeched to a stop, making me fall off the seat, and onto the floor beneath it.

"Ow."

I just laid there and stared up at the roof of the car. The ride was so boring, my eyes ended up closing, and my mind started shifting. I guess we hit a bump in the road because when I opened my eyes, I wasn't lying in the car anymore. I was lying on the ground, with my hands still together behind my back.

I was on my stomach, so I rolled over and sat up to see fire surrounding me. There were vehicles on fire on the sides of the street, which you could feel the heat coming off of.

Making it to my feet, I walked around to see there were more than just cars on fire. There were pieces of something bigger. I couldn't tell if they were truck, plane, or...helicopter. Could've been all three- who knows. It was hot! Oh my god.

As I was walking the sound of a moan was getting louder and louder.

"Hello?" I called out. "Is anyone there? Are you okay?"

I walked over to a pile of burning rubble, and saw a hand. Sighing, I stepped on the burning pile, which, to my surprise, didn't hurt. I froze and looked at the flames around my footing confusion, but quickly shook it out of my mind.

I moved a few pieces out of the way, and grabbed the hand. It was surprisingly cold still. With all my strength, I pulled, and eventually, after a few seconds, I saw the being emerge from the pile. Whoever they were was wearing a black suit, and looked like they were going to a special event. and I could just tell that by the shirt they were wearing. At least I think it was a suit. I only saw the arm, and part of their shoulder so- don't quote me on that. I'm not one hundred percent sure.

I got the guy out up to his shoulder blades, when I noticed he wasn't looking so good. The back of his neck was all scraped up, and bloody.

"Are you alright?" I asked again, getting annoyed.

I knew this guy was alive, because he was moaning in pain. You can NOT be dead, and be able to moan in pain. That- that doesn't work! I was able to get the guy out of the burning- stuff, and laid him on the floor. Well, I let him fall. He was lying on his stomach, so I went to turn him over, when he all of a sudden grabbed my arm, and jumped up. I froze at the sudden movement, and was luckily quick enough to stop his from attacking me.

"Ay! Whoa! Stop it now!" I yelled holding his hands back from strangling me.

I was kneeling beside him, but he knocked me over, so I was now lying on the floor on my side, as I'm trying to stop this guy from strangling me. I Was so focused on trying to stop this guy from killing me with his bare hands, I wasn't paying attention to his face.

When I saw who the guy in the black suit was, my eyes nearly flew out of my head. I Stared up at them confused, and surprised.

"Joker?"

He smirked down at me, as he rose a fist. With his other hand, he grabbed my throat, holding me still. I froze. I didn't know what to do- or think. I thought he was dead. Ouch. That still hurts to say that. My eyes darted to his fist, which didn't hesitate to come falling down towards my face. Just as his fist was about to come into contact with my face-

My eyes flew open, as my body jerked to the left. Next thing I know, I'm falling, and seconds later, I hit something hard.

"Ouch!" I yelled wincing in pain. "Uhhh ohh."
