"How do you think it went?" Pj asks, as we walk out of the audition room.

"I think it went well. The previous year has been really dramatic, and people love drama." I say, and we walk to my car. "Hey, do you need a ride to your apartment?" I ask Pj, and he nods his head yes. "Bye, guys!" I yell to my parents, and the give me a wave before climbing into their car.

"You look really nice today." Pj says, and sits in the passenger seat. I smile, and fluff up my curly hair.

"Aw, thanks." I say, and start to drive to Pj's apartment. It's lightly snowing as we drive down the street, and I really wish that Spring would just get here already.

"How are you adjusting to your apartment?" I ask, and he smiles.

"Really well, it's nice being friends with Emmett again." He says, and I nod my head.

"Have you told him about where you've been for the past year, yet?" I ask, and he leans back in the seat.

"Yeah, I told him yesterday."

"What did he say?"

"He was just surprised."'

"Oh."

"So, how are things going in your life?" He asks.

"They're good, um...I'm friends with Spencer again." I say, and I'm not sure what his reaction will be.

"Really? Just friends?" He questions, and I scoff.

"Of course, you know I'm kind of going out Beau." I say, and I can see him roll his eyes.

"Sure." Pj says, and that's all it takes for me to immediately be in a bad mood.

"Here's your apartment." I say, and he gets out of the car, and gives me a small wave. I start to drive back to my house, and my phone starts to ring. I answer it, and being it up to my ear. "Hello?" I ask, and the other line remains silent, "Hello?" I ask again.

"Hey." He says, and I can immediately tell that's it's Spencer.

"Hey Spence, what's up?" I ask, and I can hear him sigh over the phone.

"I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be visiting in Denver for a few days."

Josh:POV

I walk out of my house smugly, and dial Olivia's number into my phone. "Hello?" She asks.

"Hey, baby." I say, and I can just imagine her blushing.

"Don't call me baby." She chuckles, and I roll my eyes.

"So, I finally got around to telling Spencer about our...situation." I say, and she sighs a breath of relief.

"You told him about us?"

"Yeah, I did." I lie, and silently mouth "Oblivious".

"Thank god. I was really starting to get worried about that." Olivia says, and I shake my head. Yes she's hot, but does she have to be annoying? Might as well be a blonde.

"Yeah well, I just need you to do one more tiny thing for me." I say, and she sighs.

"Babe, you know that I really don't like messing with him."

"I know, I just need you to do one more thing." I say, and walk across the snow-covered grass.

"What?"

"Keep Spencer from leaving New York." I say, and sit on the park bench.

"Yous said that you told him about us, there's no way that I would be able to convince him to stay." Olivia says, and I shake my head.

"I told you to keep him in New York, I didn't say anything about convincing him." I say, with a smirk.

"Josh, I don't like the sound of what you're trying to say." She says, and I roll my eyes.

"Just keep him in New York!" I yell, and hang up the phone. "The simplest things!" I mumble, and stand up from the uncomfortable park bench. Everything is falling into place and I cannot wait to see the outcome. I smirk to try to fill in the hole in my heart. I just haven't been the same since Kate and I went separate ways. I know it's all my fault, and I will always have to live with that facet, but if I can't get Kate back, then why not get revenge instead? It's simple logic when you think about it.
