Six days later...

Teddy:POV

This week has been quite bizarre. I've decided to try to become friends again with Spencer. I have just missed him so much, and I can't stand not talking to him. The audition for the reality show is today, and we're actually in line right now for the audition, and have been for five exhausting hours. "How much longer is this going to take?" Gabe whines, and looks up from his old game-boy.

"I don't know, Gabe." I say, and he groans. I check the time on my phone, and sigh. 2:14 PM.

"I tired!" Charlie yells, and whimpers.

"I know, sweetie." Dad says, and picks Charlie up. I try to stand on my toes and see how many people are in front of us but the way that the line is shaped I can't tell who is in front of us. I groan, and start to reconsider this idea. I pull out my phone, and decide to text Spencer. ( The sign - means Teddy sent the text, the sign * means that Spencer sent the text.)

Hey-

Hey!*

What are u up to?-

I'm just eating Mcdonald's in the biggest city in the country ;) What about u?*

Well, aren't you all that. I'm just in line for that audition that I was telling u about. The one for the reality TV show.-

If I were you, I would be dying of nervousness.*

Is that even a real word?-

I think so.*

"Next!" The man yells, and my heart is beating at the speed of light when I realize that it is time for us to audition.

I have to go, wish me good luck!-

Good luck, Teddy!*

"Are you guys ready for this?" I ask my family, and turn to look at them. This moment right now, can change our lives forever. They all nod, and we walk into the small, cramped room. Or maybe it just seems cramped because our family is so large in quantity.

"Hello. For this audition what we want you to describe is the what the previous year has been like for you all." The women tells us, and we give each other a look.

"Well, let's start from the beginning." I say with a nervous laugh.

Spencer:POV

I set my phone on the McDonald's table, and continue to eat my cheese burger. I really hope that Teddy and her family nail that audition, I just know that it will solve so many problems that they're having. The past week has been odd. I told Olivia that I think that we should just remain friends, and she agreed with me. We just have nothing in common, and that would have just led to a terrible relationship. I finish the burger, and throw my trash away. I'm really nervous because today is the day that I'm going to meet with Myco Records.

I grab my phone, and head out into the busy streets of New York. I walk down the bust street, and look for a tall building that says Myco Records on it, but can't find it anywhere. Minutes go by and before I know it, and hour has passed by. I run around the streets, panicking like crazy. I've already asked several people if they know where the building is, and they have no clue. I look up the address that they told me again, and nothing comes up.

I search for the recent phone calls that I've received and press the number that I thought was the studio's number. They pick up almost instantly, and I sigh a breath of relief. "Hey, I can't seem to find the building." I say, and I hear a laugh over the phone.

"Maybe because it doesn't exist." The man says, and I furrow my eyebrows.

"What?"

"Well, ever since you ruined my wedding, I knew that I had to get revenge." He says, and my blood runs cold.

"Josh?" I ask with a shaky voice.

"Who else would it be? If you hadn't showed up, then Teddy would have never ran away from the wedding." Josh snaps, and I'm in complete and utter .

"That is not why she left you." I say lowly, and he scoffs.

"Whatever. The point is, you had a terrible date this week set up by me. That's right, Olivia has been working for me this whole time, you moved to a city you hate because you actually believed that someone would sign you onto a record label. I mean, Myco Records? It doesn't exist!" Josh says, and tears sting the back of my eyes. "And, one more thing, it's about Teddy. I know that you two are friends again, so I thought that you should know something. She didn't tell you this, but she went on a date with a friend on mine, Beau. Beau is actually a good man, but I know that I can convince him to break Teddy's heart because of a...misunderstanding, that is of course, right after she falls in love with him." He says, and a tear quickly falls from my eye.

"Why are you telling me all of this?" I ask, and he laughs wickedly.

"Because I know that if you try to warn her, she won't believe you. She'll simply think that you're saying this only to have her crawl back into your arms."

And that, is when I realized that things were never going to be okay.
