Good Luck Charlie (Or is it Teddy?)

Chapter ten

Teddy:POV

I got up and got ready for court. I'm really sick of getting up at 7:oo to go to a heated and crowded court room. I got in my car and drove over there. I parked my car and tossed my keys on my purse. I walked inside, and Ivy talking to someone outside the door. I hid behind a plant and eavesdropped on them.

Ivy:POV

I was talking to Derek. "Derek, I can't do this anymore! I gave up my friendship with Teddy just so she wouldn't find out, and you barely even let me name our child after her! And you had me do, this-this stupid case against her! Why, just why?!We're done." I said as I ran out.

I sat on the bricks in front of the court house. I pulled my knees to my face and started to sob. For about the past year I've been terrible to Teddy all because he told me too. Someone came out and sat next to me.

"Tell the judge I'll be in, in about five minutes." I sobbed as I hid my face.

"Ivy it's me." She said. I'd know that voice anywhere .

"Teddy?" I asked looking up. I was right, it was her.

"I'm so sorry. I heard everything." She said, tears brimming at her eyes.

"I should be the one apologizing to you." I said hiding my face again. Teddy leaned over and hugged me.

"I've missed you so much." She said. I looked over at her.

"Me too."I said and hugged her back.

"Do you have a place to stay?" She asked me.

"Yeah, Derek technically still lives with his mom." I laughed. "Do you?" I asked. She rubbed her temples.

"Wow, I need to tell you a lot." She said. She told me everything, Spencer leaving and getting a new girlfriend, Pj dying, her getting kicked out of the drama club her parents disappearance, her getting engaged to someone she didn't love, and spencer ignoring her.

"Oh, T..."I said and gave her a big hug. I can't believe that in the mix of all I this I took away Charlie and Toby. "You can stay with me, I mean, I don't want you to waste all of your money by staying at a hotel." I said.

"Really?" She looked up at me hopefully.

"Of course! Oh and, I think this goes without saying, but I'll drop the custody case, too." I said.

"Thank you! Finally! Something non-horrible is happening to me." She yelled as she hugged me so tight that I couldn't breathe.

"Can't. Breathe!"

"Sorry, sorry!" She said letting go of me.

"I'll go in and tell the judge that I'm dropping the case." I said and started to get up, but she stopped me.

"I'll go in, I don't want you to have a of seeing Derek again. If I'm not back in 15 minutes, then come looking for me." She said, and I laughed, but she stayed dead serious.

"Oh your serious. Uh, sure." I said.

Teddy:POV

I walked in. Finally something good is happening! Now I just need to fix my other million problems. *sigh*

What a fantastic life I have! (Note sarcasm). I went over to the court room but bumped into someone on the way. Great.
