In this chapter I will be showing you different ways to get your skin glowing and fresh :)

Your body is made up of mostly water, and I'm sure you've heard that drinking water will clear up your skin, but what about eating water? Many foods, mainly fruits, have a high percentage of water in them. If you eat some the foods I will list below, I'm sure your skin will brighten up in no time.

- apples are 84% water
- strawberries are 90% water
- a watermelon is 92% water
- spinach is 96% water
- oranges are 87% water
- celery is 95% water
- a tomato is 93% water
- a grapefruit is 91% water
- a cucumber is 96% water

Including these foods in your meals or snacks will ultimately brighten up your skin and are good for keeping healthy.

Changing up your daily routine using the tips I will give you below could brighten your skin up. These tips are not placed in order of how they should be applied, I do not recommend using all tips in one routine.

- use a gentle facial cleanser to remove impurities
- use a toner and a moisturiser
- use glowing face masks
- make sure to remove your makeup completely
- scrub of the dead skin cells
- apply a rejuvenating face mask
- apple sunscreen lotion to protect your skin
- apply an evening face pack
- have a steam bath to open up your pores
- dab a cotton ball dipped in rose water on your face
- massage your face using aloe vera gel
- use an under eye serum to rid of dark circles
- apply a day cream that contains SPF
- use a sandalwood face pack
- exfoliate your skin again after your routine
- spray rose water on your face (recommend Mario Badescu)
- indulge in a fruit facial

In a week, you'll notice a huge difference in the way your skin feels and looks. Spread out these tips doing up to three a day for a week and I'm sure your skin will be glowing and fresh by the end of the week.

Like the one before, you could change up your night routine only by doing these 10 things each night. Not only will your skin glow brighter but you will feel more energised and alert.

- drink one glass of water before bed
- wash your face with a facial wash
- tone your face with a facial toner
- apply a light layer of night cream
- add lip balm to your lips to hydrate them over night
- spend five to ten minutes meditating
- avoid having a long shower
- use a humidifier
- use an overnight glow serum (recommended Pixi skin treatments)
-  use ice cubes to treat fine lines and improve blood circulation for an instant face lift

Adding any of these ten tips to your night routine will ultimately brighten your skin.
