In this chapter, I am going to show you how to grow longer hair in just 6 simple steps.
01. Wash your hair in cold water
I have done a chapter called Hair Hacks that includes the benefits of cold and hot water on your hair.
While warm water opens a hair's cuticle to allow shampoo and conditioner to do their job, cold water helps to close the cuticle and seal in moisture from the conditioner — which helps your hair look shiny and healthy. So, by all means, take a warm shower, but at the end, rinse with cold water02. Brush and comb your hair gently
If the bristles of the brush or the teeth of the comb are well made with rounded end and no sharp seams no harm done. Brushing hair will distribute the oils from the scalp along the length of the hair. Good for dry hair, unnecessary for oily hair.03. Wear your hair down as much as possible
Sounds a bit drastic, but avoiding putting your hair up in a bun, braid, or ponytail is recommended for preventing breakage. The more you can do to prevent breakage, the healthier your hair will be, and the quicker it will grow.04. Give your hair an antioxidant mask
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals to keep hair healthy and strong. Some say that flooding the hair with antioxidants prevents hair loss, since certain ones, like green tea and vitamins, are thought to promote hair growth and prevent the follicle from shrinking.05. Trim your hair regularly
Trimming your hair will get rid of split ends meaning as your hair grows, it grows healthily. The other benefits of trimming include fuller, healthier ends, less breakage, and length retention.06. Drink lots of water
Water helps the body to process and flush out toxins faster, which makes it a quick and easy natural method that will make your hair grow a lot faster. If you drink about 8 cups of water a day, not only will your body feel better, but your hair will get stronger.I hope this helped you guys!
