This chapter will include different drinks which will help you get that gorgeous clear skin you've always wanted!

Throughout the day
Water - 8 glasses / 2 litres
Drinking at least 8 glasses a day will help rid the body and skin of toxins. Everyone will not agree that water consumption will improve skin... but it certainly can't hurt. Many people often report that by increasing their water intake, their skin has a more radiant glow.

The morning
Green juice - 1 glass                  
The vitamins and antioxidants found in green juices work together to improve your overall health. Not only do the antioxidants and vitamins detox your skin, they aid in removing toxins from your entire body.

Latte with soy milk - 1 glass
The protein provided by soy milk keeps skin tissues moisturized and increases their elasticity. The antioxidants contained in caffeine can attack these free radicals and eliminate them. This will improve the overall appearance of your skin.
Caffeine possesses anti-inflammatory properties that make it useful in reducing inflammation and redness in your skin. Even though caffeine cannot cure hereditary dark circles, its anti-inflammatory properties make it beneficial in reducing puffiness and inflammation associated with dark circles. Caffeine also reduces the accumulation of blood under your eyes which contribute to dark shadows.
Caffeine present in skin care products can dehydrate fatty cells. This results in the water disappearing from the surface of your skin. This minimizes the appearance of cellulite, thus providing you with a smoother skin.
Caffeine constricts blood vessels to reduce redness. This makes it an ideal treatment for facial flushing and rosaceae. Thus, it has the ability to calm irritated and reddened skin caused by sun damage and rosaceae.
Studies have indicated that caffeine may also repair the skin damage caused by exposure to UV rays. It is considered a stronger antioxidant than the polyphenols contained in green tea. In fact, it is among the best and strongest antioxidants to combat UV damage.

The afternoon
Green tea - 2 cups
Most of the polyphenols in green tea are catechins. Catechins, which are antioxidants by nature, have also been shown to function as anti-inflammatory and anticancer agents. One of the major catechins in green tea has been shown to be the most effective agent against skin inflammation and cancerous changes in the skin.

The evening
Pomegranate juice - 1 glass
Pomegranates possess anti-ageing properties, thus rejuvenating your skin both internally and externally. Pomegranate juice is beneficial for the skin that is damaged due to sun exposure or aging. The oil from pomegranate seeds helps strengthen the epidermis thus reducing or delaying wrinkles.

Before bed
Cucumber-infused water - 1 glass
Cucumber water can help soothe your skin from the inside out. Staying hydrated helps your body to flush out toxins and maintain a healthy complexion. Cucumbers are also high in pantothenic acid or vitamin B-5, which has been used to treat acne.
