This chapter will include items that you should have ready for when it's your period, and also foods to eat on your period!
You will need:
- a bag to put all of these things in
- pads or tampons
- a light perfume mist
- wipes
- your comfiest black clothing
- a hot water bottle
- pain killers - recommend Advil
- slipper or fluffy socks
- spare underwear - not nice silk ones from VS or anything, go for cotton ones that you don't favourTips:
- change your pad every 3-5 hours
- don't leave your tampon in for more than 8 hours
- keep yourself clean everywhere
- get lots of rest
- take hot showers - helps with cramps
- if you have a really bad cramps or a heavy period maybe try birth control - you don't have to this is optional!Food to eat:
- kale
- oranges
- bananas
- watermelon
- salmon
- broccoli
- dark chocolate
