There was a white box on the bed in front of me. It was tied shut with a cherry red ribbon and a card was placed on top of it held shut by a red wax seal. I threw my beach bag on the floor and sat on the bed next to it. I carefully picked up the box and set it on my lap, ready to open after I read the card.

"Lilo,

I'm still at work and will be until late, so I got this delivered to our room. I hope you like it and if you do, could you possibly wear it tonight? I can't wait. I'll meet you in reception at 8pm. I wont see you until then.

All my love, Harry xx"

He must have had it written in the shop, the writing definitely wasn't his. The thought he had put into it made me smile. It was so sweet of him to do.

I gingerly lifted the lid off the box and moved all the pristine, ivory tissue out of the way. Inside was the most beautiful dress you could ever imagine. The first thing I noticed was the shocking, scarlet color of the silky smooth material. I carefully pulled it out of the box and held it in front of me. It cascaded down; the dress was floor length, sleeveless with a deep v-neck. It was knotted at the centre of the bust and flowed down from there. There was a split to just above the knee in the centre of the dress.

It was beautiful. I stood in front of the mirror and held the dress in front of me, careful to avoid it touching my skin. I didn't want any grease from sun tan lotion to stain it. It was only then that I saw the label. It was small and black, located next to the zip which went straight down the back. I gasped when I realized where he'd bought the dress from. It's not every day you get and Alexander McQueen dress for no reason!

I slipped it onto a coat hanger and hung it on the mirror. I took a step back and couldn't help but stare at it. It was the most gorgeous thing I'd ever been given. I grabbed my phone and quickly took a photo before texting Harry.

"O.M.G! I Love YOU and the dress so much! Xxx"

I then sent my Mum the photo, saying:

"Aren't I the world's luckiest girl? Xx" She'd be asleep so she wouldn't see it yet. Before I knew it Harry had texted back.

"I'm so glad you like it, it took me ages to chose! I love you too xxx"

I couldn't help but dance around the room. The most attractive guy in the universe loved me and had bought me an Alexander McQueen dress that would cost me a year's wages to buy myself! Could one person be any luckier? I seriously doubted it.

Before I could waste too much time dancing and staring at it I stripped off my clothes and jumped in the shower.

My skin was shining, the tan I'd caught that day looked darker than it had earlier, the scarlet of the dress made it look darker again. The dress hugged my body all the way down, only flowing out towards the bottom. I smoothed my hands down the dress, making sure it was sitting properly. I was also wearing the Tiffany necklace and ring Harry had bought me in the airport and the Tiffany bracelet I'd had for my birthday. I sprayed Coco Mademoiselle on my wrists and on my neck, the scent filling my nose as I put the simple diamond earrings into my ears.

Danielle and Bay had been round after I'd showered earlier. I'd sent them both a text telling them about the dress and they were dying to see it. Bay had nearly collapsed with shock and Danielle was speechless. I didn't have a bag that matched it, so they'd both brought every bag they brought to L.A with them to my room.

After an hour of umming and aahing over which one to chose we decided as a team that one of Danielle's suited it best. It was also Alexander McQueen, it was a small box clutch made of shiny leather with the Alexander McQueen gold skull. It gave the sophisticated scarlet dress a rocky edge.
