Zoe woke up with a splitting headache. She groaned and buried her face in her pillow.

"Good morning sunshine." Evan said. Zoe groaned again.

"Stop yelling!" She said. Evan chuckled and sat beside her.

"Here baby. I've got Advil and water." Evan said. Zoe sat up and took the pills and drank the glass of water before lying back down.

"What do you want to do?" Evan asked, sitting beside her. Zoe curled into his arms.

"Right now I want to stay like this." Zoe said.

"Want me to make some hot chocolate?" Evan asked. Zoe nodded and Evan pressed a kiss to her forehead before walking out of the room. Zoe buried her face in her pillow and counted the seconds until Evan came back.

420 seconds later Evan walked back into their room with two mugs of hot chocolate. Zoe sat up and he handed one to her.

"Want me to put on a Christmas movie?" Evan asked. Zoe nodded and put her hot chocolate on her bedside table.

"Which movie?" Evan asked.

"Can we watch Elf?" Zoe asked. Evan nodded and put Elf in the DVD player before grabbing the remote and his mug and sitting beside Zoe. The movie started playing and Zoe laughed.

"What's so funny?" Evan asked.

"Hot chocolate and chill." Zoe said softly. Evan chuckled and kissed Zoe on the top of her head.

"Are you still a little tipsy?" Evan asked. Zoe shook her head as the opening credits played.

"No. But we're having hot chocolate and chill." Zoe said. Evan smiled and took a sip from his mug.

"You're ridiculous." Evan said. Zoe smiled and took a sip from her mug.

"Okay, what movie do you want to watch now?" Evan asked.

"You pick." Zoe said. She looked at her empty mug.

"I'm going to make more hot chocolate. You want?" She asked, slowly standing up.

"Yeah that'd be great." Evan said.

Zoe grabbed his mug and walked downstairs. She poured water in Evan's and milk in her own. She poured the hot chocolate mix into both mugs and put them in the microwave. She sat at the table and started tracing the grains in the wood, waiting for the microwave to beep.

When it did, she stood up and walked towards the fridge. She grabbed the whipped cream and then grabbed marshmallows out of the cupboard. She put a pile of whipped cream on both after putting in a handful of marshmallows into each mug.

She put the whipped cream back and grabbed the chocolate sauce out of the fridge. She opened the lid and swirled it over top of the whipped cream on both mugs. She smiled and carried both mugs back upstairs.

She walked into her room to see Evan sitting on the bed.

"I was beginning to get a little bit worried. You were taking a while." Evan said.

"Yeah but I made it special." Zoe said. Evan smiled and took his mug from her.

"You did. Are there-"

"Yes. There's a handful of marshmallows in each." Zoe said. Evan kissed her temple as she curled into his arms.

"What movie did you pick?" Zoe asked.

"A Christmas Story." Evan said. Zoe smiled as Evan kissed the top of her head.

"Okay let's do this! Hot chocolate and chill part two!" Zoe said. Evan sighed and smiled at her.

"I cannot believe you're calling it that." Evan said. Zoe shrugged.

"Don't act like it isn't hilarious." She said. Evan laughed and pressed play on the remote.

"Whatever you say Murphy. Now shush, the movie's starting." Evan said. Zoe smiled and took a sip from her mug.

"How about one more movie?" Zoe asked. Evan nodded and looked at his empty mug.

"What about one more hot chocolate?" Evan asked.

"I don't want to make it." Zoe said. Evan shrugged.

"I'll make it." Evan said. Zoe shrugged and handed him her mug.

"Why not. I'm not working tomorrow." Zoe said. Evan laughed and stood up.

"Pick a movie and we'll watch that before we talk about the plan for this evening." Evan said.

Zoe nodded and looked through their Christmas movie collection. She pulled The Polar Express off of the shelf and smiled. She put it in the DVD player. She grabbed the remote and curled back under the covers.

Evan walked back into their room a few minutes later with two mugs in his hand. He handed Zoe hers and she smiled.

"Thank you." She said. Evan smiled and sat beside her.

"You're welcome baby." Evan said. He wrapped an arm around her and looked at her.

"Which movie did you pick?" He asked her.

"The Polar Express." Zoe said. Evan smiled.

"I love that movie!" Evan said. Zoe smiled.

"That's why we're watching it." She said. She pressed play on the remote and Evan smiled as the opening credits started playing.

"Hot chocolate and chill-"

"Zoe, I love you, but if you say hot chocolate and chill one more time, I'm going to dump my hot chocolate on you." Evan said. Zoe laughed and gently shoved Evan's arm.

"You wouldn't dare." She said.

"Try me." Evan said.

"No. Because we have white sheets and the hot chocolate that you want to dump on me will completely ruin them." Zoe said. Evan laughed and put his mug down.

"Right. And that's the only reason." Evan said. Zoe shrugged and took a sip of her drink.

"I still don't think you'll actually do it." Zoe said. Evan smiled and kissed her temple.

"Well let's hope I never have to find out."
