"Okay, Tia is down for her nap, Mal are you ready for the movie?" Zoe asked. Mallory nodded excitedly and looked at her father.
"Daddy! Press play!" Mallory said. Evan smiled and looked at her.
"What's the magic word Mal?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Daddy, can you please press play?" Mallory asked. Evan smiled and pressed play before sitting beside Zoe on the couch. Mallory crawled in between her parents and rested her head on her mothers shoulder. Mallory was quiet until the movie started.
"Mommy! Look at the babies!" She said excitedly. Zoe smiled and started stroking Mallory's hair.
Mallory gasped when Santa came on the screen.
"Daddy! Look! It's Santa!" Mallory said. Evan smiled.
"Maybe Santa will take me to the North Pole." Mallory said.
"Oh sweetheart I hope not!" Zoe said.
"Why Mommy?" Mallory asked.
"Because we would miss you too much." Zoe said. Mallory nodded and was quiet for a while.

"I like that movie Mommy." Mallory said, as Zoe helped her brush her teeth later that night.
"I'm glad! We'll watch it another time." Zoe said. Mallory nodded as her mother finished and handed her the water cup.
"Okay, rinse and spit, and then puffer." Zoe said. Mallory nodded, spat in the sink and grabbed her puffer, handing it to her mother. Zoe put the mask over Mallory's nose and mouth and pressed the button.
"Five big breaths. Remember. One, two, three, four, five." Zoe counted. Mallory rinsed her mouth out once more before running across the hall and climbing into her bed. Zoe followed and kissed Mallory, pulling the covers up.
"Goodnight sweetheart." Zoe said. Mallory smiled and hugged Zoe.
"Night Mommy." She said. Evan came in and kissed her.
"Goodnight princess." Evan said.
"Night Daddy!" Mallory said. Evan grabbed Zoe's hand and the pair left Mallory to sleep.
