"Mommy! Mommy look what Santa brought!" Mallory cried as she pushed the box towards her mother.
"Oh wow Mal! Santa brought you the Bitty Baby!" Zoe said.
"Mommy, can you open her?" Mallory asked. Zoe nodded and grabbed the scissors and started to open the doll.
15 minutes later, the baby doll was open and dressed in the outfit that Santa had brought. Mallory ran over to Lily and the two girls started to play with their dolls.
"Okay Mal, here's your present from Mommy and Daddy." Heidi said. Mallory was handed two boxes. She ripped the first one open and smiled.
"A new dollhouse! Thank you!" Mallory said. Inside the dollhouse was a kitchen, a living room, several bedrooms, a bathroom and a nursery. Mallory smiled and started to take the dolls out of the boxes.
"Princess, there's another one." Cynthia said. Mallory opened the other present and held up a t shirt.
"What does it say sweet pea?" Heidi asked.
"I don't know. Daddy, what does it say?" Mallory asked, taking the t shirt to her father. She climbed into Evan's lap and Evan looked at it.
"'World's Best Big Sister'. But Mal's not... Wait Zoe are you..." Evan asked, looking at Zoe. Zoe was smiling with tears in her eyes.
"Yeah, I am." Zoe said smiling. Evan smiled and hugged her.
"Oh my god! We're having another baby!" Evan said happily. Zoe turned to the rest of her family and smiled.
"So, we're having another baby!" Zoe said.
"When are you due?" Meredith asked.
"I'm due on the 13th of September." Zoe said smiling. Cynthia hugged her and smiled.
"Another baby! This is so exciting!" Cynthia said. Larry hugged Zoe and smiled.
"Congratulations pumpkin." Larry said smiling. Heidi hugged both Evan and Zoe and smiled.
"Congratulations you two!" She said. Connor and Meredith smiled.
"Congratulations you two! We can't wait for Baby Hansen to come!" Meredith said. Zoe turned to Mallory who was sitting with a very confused look on her face.
"So do you know what's happening Mal?" Zoe asked. Mallory shook her head.
"Mommy is going to have a baby!" Evan said excitedly.
"Where is it?" Mallory asked.
"It's in Mommy's tummy." Zoe said. Mallory looked at Zoe's stomach and frowned.
"Did you eat it?" Mallory asked. The adults in the room laughed and Mallory looked at Lily who shrugged.
"No, I didn't eat it. The baby is growing in Mommy's tummy. And then in September, you're going to have a baby brother or sister!" Zoe said. Mallory smiled and turned to Lily.
"Lily! I'm going to have a baby sister or brother!" Mallory said excitedly. Zoe smiled as Evan kissed her temple, and watched as Mallory and Lily continued to tear open more presents.
