When Mallory went downstairs it looked like Christmas and thrown up in her living room and her parents were bickering.

"Zo. Put the box down." Evan asked.

"No! I'm fine." Zoe protested.

"You're also 7.5 months pregnant and shouldn't be lifting heavy things." Evan countered.

"I'm a big girl Evan. I can make my own decisions." Zoe snapped. Evan groaned.

"Fine." Evan snapped.

Zoe huffed and put the box down and opened it. She pulled out the garland for the banister. She started wrapping it before feeling a sharp pain in her abdomen. She gasped and sat on the couch.

"Mommy!" Mallory gasped before running towards her mother.

"I'm fine ladybug. I just need to sit down." Zoe soothed. Mallory sat with her mother and Evan walked back inside the room, looking at Zoe.

"Are you okay?" Evan asked.

"I'll be fine." Zoe snapped.

"Are you regretting lifting that box?" Evan asked.

"No." Zoe said stubbornly. Evan sighed and kissed her forehead.

"Alright Mal, let's help Mommy decorate!" Evan said. Zoe smiled as Mallory grabbed decorations
