Chapter 1: Junior Year

ECHO'S POV

"Echo, wake up." My dad said, shaking me.

"I don't wanna!" I whined.

"Come on, your mom is making breakfast. Let's go." He said, grabbing my legs and yanking me out of bed. I hit the floor with a thud and groaned, curling into a ball. "Echo, you don't want to be late for your first day of junior year! You're an upperclassman now, come on, let's go."

"Fine." I said, standing up and running a hang through my rats nest of hair.

"Get ready." He said and left. I yawned and walked over to my closet. I pulled out a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain white T-Shirt. I stripped out of my sleepwear and pulled on my clothes for the day. I turned on my flat iron and let it heat up while I ran a brush through my hair.

Yes, I am Echo Biersack, daughter of Andy Biersack from Black Veil Brides and Niki Biersack from Between The Echos. I always ask if my parents got my name from my mom's band but they just say that my mom has always thought it was a pretty name.

I look mostly like my mom, I have long black hair, pale skin and a few of her facial features while I have bright blue eyes like my dad. I am sixteen and am going into my junior year of high school.

I have two brothers. Davey is fourteen and is going into ninth grade while my youngest brother Nate is twelve and is going into seventh grade.

My best friend is Haven Purdy who is the same age as me but a month younger. Haven has shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes. He looks a lot like his dad, even has the same skin tone. Haven also acts a lot like his dad. I was told that Ashley used to be a player but Haven's not like that. He only had one girlfriend and that was in freshman year for the first semester. Haven may not be a player, but he is perverted just like his dad, it can be funny but it can also be annoying.

My dad doesn't trust Haven and I alone. Whenever Haven is at my house, we have to leave my door open or hang out in the living room. Haven's parents are a little more trusting but the door has to be open a crack because 'my dad would kill them if something happened to me' as Ashley, Haven's dad, puts it.

My parent's bands are extremley successful and they go on tour all the time. We're able to go on tours in the summer if they have one, but if it's during the school year, we stay with Ella, Kylie and their kids in this big house that everyone bought so Kylie, Ella and the kids could have somewhere to stay all together.

Haven has one little sister named Harmony and she is thirteen.

Christian and Rosie have one kid, Stephanie, who is ten. Jake and Ella have two kids, a son named Luke who is fifteen and a daughter named Delilah who is eleven. Jinxx and Kylie have two kids as well, both girls. April is nine and Aeryn is five.

Once my flat iron was heated up, I quickly flat ironed my hair and turned it off. I applied a thin line of black eyeliner, making my eyes pop. I slipped on a jean jacket and pulled on my black combat boots. I went downstairs and sat down at the table with my brothers and dad.

"Good morning Echo." My mom said, placing my platee in front of me.

"Morning." I said, beginning to eat.

"Nate, you've gotta get to your bus." My dad said. Nate finished up his foot and put his plate in the sink, going to the door and grabbing his backpack.

"Bye!" He called as he walked out.

"Bye!" We all said as the door closed.

"Can Haven drive me to school?" I asked.
