HAVEN'S POV

"Echo! I'm home!" I called as I walked into the apartment after work. "Echo?" I asked, walking down the hall and looking in the rooms. "ECHO!" I exclaimed as I ran through the apartment, starting to get worried.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." I freaked out, sitting down on the couch. What if she had gotten kidnapped again. Oh God.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Echo's number, shaking my leg.

"Pick up, pick up, pick up." I chanted.

"Hello?"

"ECHO!" I exclaimed, tears coming to my eyes.

"Haven, is everything okay?"

"I-I got home a-and you weren't here and I got worried."

"Oh Haven, I'm sorry. I'm at my parents' house watching my dad and Davey play basketball. I'm on my way home."

"I'm just so happy your safe. Drive safe."

"I will, I love you, sorry to scare you."

"Love you too, see you in a bit." She said and hung up.

ECHO'S POV

"I gotta go." I told my mom, standing up. "Haven got home and freaked out."

"Okay, drive safe." My mom said, hugging me. I got into the car and drove back to the apartment, parking the car and walking up to our door.

I walked in and Haven almost tackled me, hugging me tightly.

"I was so scared." He cried.

"I'm fine." I chuckled, kissing his lips.

"At least leave me a note next time?"

"Deal."
