Chapter 70

ECHO'S POV

"WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled as I walked into my apartment after work. The place was a mess. The pillows were scattered around the room and were torn up. There was trash everywhere and remenants of food.

"BUSTER!" I screamed and I saw the puppy come running out. "BAD DOG!" I exclaimed, beginning to clean up the mess he created.

I had just finished cleaning up when Haven came home.

"Where'd the pillows go?" Haven asked, pointing to the couch.

"The fucking dog that you decided to get left a surprise for me when I got home from work. This place was a fucking mess but I just finished cleaning it."

"I'll sign him up for obedience school."

"You better. You're taking him."

"Okay." He said and I rolled my eyes, going to take a long bath.

Haven signed up Buster to start taking obedience classes next week so i had either my mom or dad, whoever was free, to come and watch him so I didn't come home to any more surprises.

*A few months later*

Buster is better. He's not perfect but he's trained enough to where we can leave him alone while we go to work.

Haven walked in after work and I was sitting on the couch, Buster curled up on my lap.

"Hey babe." He said.

"Hey." I said. "How was work?"

"Fine, how about you?"

"Fine." I said. He walked over and sat next to me.

"So, lately, I've been thinking we should think about a baby."

"What! Haven, we're not even nineteen yet."

"I know, but I want a baby! And I know you do too!"

"I do! But not at nineteen! Haven, we barley have enough money for rent, what makes you think we'll have enough money for a baby?"

"We'll make it work!"

"Haven! No! Don't you think we should at least get engaged first?"

"Will you marry me?" He asked, grabbing my hand.

"Haven! Stop it!" I exclaimed, pulling my hand out of his grip and standing up, walking into the hallway.

"Echo!"

"Haven Michael Purdy, I don't want to hear another word out of your mouth." I said and walked to our bedroom.
