Chapter 89: Baby Shower

ECHO'S POV

*Three Months Later*

"Echo! Haven!" My mom exclaimed, pulling us in for hugs and then leading us into the house. My jaw dropped as we walked in. Pink. Everywhere.

"Wow, you and Riot really went all out." I said, looking around at the pink streamers and balloons.

"Oh god, I have a headache." Haven groaned, grabibng his head.

"Here." My dad said, handing him a beer.

"Oh, I'm not twenty one yet."

"I won't tell." My dad winked and walked off. Haven shrugged and opened the beer, drinking it. We walked further into the house and I sat on the couch.

"Seriously, you guys don't think all the pink is a little too much."

"I don't think it's enough!" Riot exclaimed.

"It's all your dad picked up."My mom said.

"Haven, why are you drinking a beer?" Riot asked.

"Babe, he's going to be a father, number one survival skill right here. Especially if it's a girl." Ashley said, holding up his own beer. Riot rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to me.

"So, how are you feeling Echo?"

"Like a fucking water balloon."

"My water balloon." Haven sang and I flipped him off, causing him to laugh.

"I'm fat, I'm emotional, my feet hurt, I'm tired, I'm hungry. Being pregnant sucks."

"I know honey, but it's all worth it." My mom smiled, sitting next to me and hugging me.

"Ugh, I can't believe we're about to be parents." I said as I held Legacy in my lap.

"I know." Haven smiled.

"Eho." Legacy said, looking up at me.

"Yes?"

"You're belly is uncomforble." She said and I laughed.

"How about you sit on Haven's lap." I said, passing her to Haven. She smiled and cuddled into his chest. He laughed and stroked her hair.

"Legacy! Can you come here please?" My mom called. Haven put her on the ground and she ran into the kitchen.

"I can't wait to be a parent." Haven said, kissing my lips and placed his hand on my huge belly.

"I know. Excited, but scared."

"Yeah." He said. "But we'll make it, together."

"Cake time!" My mom exclaimed. We all got up and went into the kitchen. I cut a piece for eveyone and then one for Haven and I. We all went back to the living room and sat down, talking and eating. Everyone that we know came for the baby shower. Of course my parents and siblings and Haven's parents and sister, but the rest of BVB came with their families and my grandparents came from Ohio.

Haven and I got up and stood in front of everyone.

"We have an announcement." I said. "We've chosen the name for our little girl."

"Ivy Phoenix Purdy." Haven smiled and everyone awwed.

"That's perfect!" The girls said.

"Thanks." We both said. We opened presents, which was just basics like money, clothes, diapers, toys and pacifiers.

HAVEN'S POV

After we finished opening the presents, I walked up to Andy.

"Can I talk to you and Niki someone in private?" I asked.

"Of course." He said, standing up. He walked over to Niki and tapped her on the shoulder. She looked up and he motioned with her finger to follow him. I followed him up the stairs and into their bedroom, Niki behind us.

"What?" She asked, looking at Andy.

"Haven wants to talk to us."

"Oh." She said, looking at me.

"I wanted to ask you guys if I could propose to Echo."

"Wow." Niki said.

"Do you have a ring?" He asked and I nodded, pulling the small box out of my pocket. I opened it and showed them.

"I really love Echo and I feel like this is the right thing to do and the right time."

"Okay."

"Really?" I asked and they both nodded.

"You're a nice boy Haven, you love Echo, Echo loves you, and your child deserves her parents to have a happy marriage." Niki said.

"Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" I exclaimed, hugging both of them.

"When are you going to do it?" Niki asked.

"Soon, I'm still working out all of the details."

"Okay." They said and we walked out, but Andy pulled back.

"My threat still stands." He said.

"Yes sir, I wouldn't dream of it."

"Good." He smiled and walked down the stairs.
