Chapter 92

ECHO'S POV

*A few days later*

"Okay, the car is out front and you're checked out. Ready to go?" Haven asked.

"Yeah." I said, finishing putting Ivy in her onesie. I sat in the wheelchair that the hospital required me to have and Haven pushed me out to the car while I held Ivy.

We made it out to the car and I got into the car, strapping Ivy into her car seat. Haven returned the wheelchair and then got into the front seat, pulling away from the hospital.

We made it home and I carried Ivy up to our apartment in her car seat/carrier. I sat on the couch, staring down at Ivy.

"I know we've said it before, but I can't believe we're actually parents."

"I know." He smiled, sitting down next to me.

"Last year, I remember being beyond scared and feeling unprepared when we had my pregnancy scare, but now, I feel ready. I have you by my side and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the two of you."

"I can't wait either. I love you."

"I love you too." I said, kissing his lips.
