Chapter 75

ECHO'S POV

I walked into the apartment from work, kicking off my shoes and putting my keys down.

"Hey Echo, how was your day?

"Good. How was yo-" I stopped when I saw he was sitting on the couch dressed in nice clothes. "Um."

"I want to take you out on a date. These last few weeks have been hectic, so I just want us to enjoy one night."

"Um okay, I'll go get ready." I said and walked into our bedroom. I pulled out a plain, dark blue dress. It has thin straps and was knee length. I stripped out of my work clothes and pulled the dress on.

I went into the bathroom and ran a brush through my hair, waiting for my curling iron to heat up. I applied simple make up, black eyeliner, red lipstick and black/blue eyeshadow.

My curling iron was heated up so I began to curl my hair which took a good twenty minutes. I pulled on black heels and rushed out to the living room.

"Ready?" Haven asked.

"Yeah." I said. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of our apartment and down to the car. He opened the passenger side door for me and I thanked him, sliding in. He closed the door and rushed over to his side, climbing in. He started the car and we drove to the restraunt.

He parked and I gasped.

"Haven! This place is so fancy, and like, expensive!"

"I've been saving up." He smiled. I blushed as he got out of the car. He opened my door and I got out. We walked inside and walked up to the host.

"Reservation for Purdy."

"Right this way Mr. Purdy." He said and we followed him. He led us to a table set for two with a single candle in the middle. Haven pulled my seat out for me and I sat down. He sat in his own seat and we ordered drinks.

"Seriously, how'd you afford this place Haven?"

"Okay, I may have had a little help from my dad, but I payed for most of it."

"McDonald's would have been fine Haven."

"Yeah, but this is supposed to be for us to relax and talk. You can't really do that with about ten screaming children running around and everybody yelling."

"True." I giggled.

"Mainly, I just want to apologize for badgering you about having a baby. After watching Legacy, I realize taking care of kids is a lot more difficult than I thought and we are no where ready."

"Well, I'm glad you came to that conclusion before it was too late."

"Me too." He laughed.

We got our drinks and ordered our food. We talked about work and other things that were going on.

"So," Haven started when we were halfway finished with our food. "I want you to take a week off of work so we can go on a vacation."

"Haven! Vacations are expensive!"

"Look at you, you're stressing about money all the time!"

"Because we don't have any, Haven!"

"You need to take a break, Echo. Just a week, I've already got everything planned."

"You're not even going to tell me?"

"It's a surprise." He smirked.

"Ugh, fine!" I groaned. "I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you, I love you."

"I love you too."

"You'll thank me for this."

"Mhmm."

OKAY guys, listen. I am only human (shocking, right?) I have a social life. I go to school. I have homework. I do stuff other than Wattpad. My computer stopped working so I had to get a new one today, so for the moment, I'm writing on my phone. I have no idea how long this chapter is, but I hope it's long enough. If it's not, boo fucking hoo. I'm getting sick of the fucking comments. I can't fucking please everyone so I'm going to do whatever the fuck I want. Someone says I should take more time between updates, to make the chapters longer, if I do that, people will complain I don't update enough. Hell, I update every other Fucking day and I still get complaints I don't update enough. So please understand I have a life outside of Wattpad.
