Chapter 14: Dancing

ECHO'S POV 

*A Week Later*

Haven~ Hey, there's this really cool all ages club that I want to take you tonight. A little dancing might cheer you up :)

Echo~ I'll ask

I put my phone down and walked out of my room, walking down the stairs to see both of my parents on the couch.

"Hey, can I ask you guys something?"

"Sure." My mom said.

"Haven wants to take me to this all ages club tonight to go dancing. Can i go?"

"No." My dad said.

"What!"

"Andy."

"That boy has Purdy blood Niki! No!"

"Dad, we're just friends, nothing is going to happen! Plus, I just went through a breakup."

"Andy, I think we should trust her."

"Haven just wants to cheer me up!"

'Yeah, with his di-"

"ANDY!" My mom yelled, slapping his arm.

"Dad!"

"He is just like his father Echo! He knows his way with words and you could be pregnant like that."

"ANDY!"

"Dad!"

"Echo, you can go." My mom smiled. My dad started to talk but she slapped her hand over his mouth.

"Thank you mom." I smiled and went back upstairs.

Echo~ I can go

Haven~ Great, pick u up at 7.

I got up and went to go take a shower. After my shower, I searched through my closet and decided on a knee length black dress with straps that were a few inches wide. I brushed my hair and curled it, moving onto my makeup. I applied a thin line of black eyeliner and some light black eyeshadow. I added a light red lipstick and slipped on three inch black heels.

Someone knocked on the door and I hurried down to see my dad got it first. Shit, poor Haven.

"Dad, stop interrogating Haven."

"Take those heels off."

"Da-"

"Echo, listen to your fahter. You're just lucky he's letting you go." I sighed and walked back to my room, kicking off my heels and putting on black ballet flats.

"That's more like it." He smiled as I came back down.

"They're more comfortable anyway." I said, smiling when i saw Haven.

"Wow Echo, you look beautiful." Haven smiled. I got to the bottom of the stairs and hugged Haven. "You ready to go?"

"Yup." He smiled as we walked out, my dad watching us as we walked out to his car. Haven opened the passenger side door and I thanked him, sliding in. He closed the door and ran around to his side, getting in and starting up the car.

He pulled out of my driveway and drove off, the two of us making small talk as we drove to the club. Haven parked and we got out, walking in.

"This is cool." I smiled.

"Yeah, do you want to get something to eat?"

"Sure." We sat down at a table and talked until a waitress came up to us. We ordered our drinks and she handed us our menus. We got our drinks, ordered our food and talked. 

"Come on, let's dance." Haven said ocne we finished eating.

"Alright." We went out to the dance floor and started dancing to the current song.

"This is the most fun I've had in a while." I admitted.

"Well, good." He smiled. Suddenly a slow song came on and he smirked at me. "May I have this dance?"

"Yes you may." I wrapped my arms around his neck and he gripped my hips, smiling down at me as we swayed. He leaned down and kissed me, causing me to smile and kiss back. We pulled apart and I rested my head on his shoulder as we continued to dance.

We finished dancing and he drove me home. We got out of the car and I stood in front of Haven in front of his car, just incase my dad was watching us.

"Echo, what are y-" I cut him off by kisisng him. He melted into the kiss, gripping my hips tightly. I pulled away and smiled at him.

"Haven, will you go out with me? Be my boyfriend?"

"But, what abo-"

"Fuck Steven, I can't let him run my life. I like you, not him." He smiled and kissed me again, running a hang through my hair.

"But, can we just not tell our parents for a bit?"

"Of course." He said and we walked up to the door. I hugged him and kissed his cheek.

"I had a great time tonight Haven, thank you, I needed that." I said.

"Me too. Bye Echo."

"Bye." I said, opening the door and walking in.

"So, did you have fun?" My mom asked.

"He didn't touch you, did he?" My dad cut in.

"We had a great time. We ate and danced a little. Nothing happened." I said, going up the stairs.
