ECHO'S POV

*Later That Day*

"Echo." My mom said, walking into my room.

"What?"

"I've got some good news."

"What is it?"

"Well, after spending hours fighting with the school and Steven's parents, Steven's going to juvie." She said with a smile.

"Really?"

"Yeah. His parents didn't believe that he would be so aggressive with you, but luckily the school's cameras caught Steven trying to take you into the bathroom." I smiled and hugged my mom tightly.

"Thank you so much."

"And just to be safe, your dad and I are working on getting a restraining order against his whole family."

"That would make me feel a lot better."

"That's what I'm here for." She smiled.

I went back to school the next day and I felt better knowing Steven wasn't around. I was sitting in health class, not really paying attention, doodling in my binder.

"Now, class, rpe can happen to anyone, boy, girl, young old." My eyes got wide and my breathing started to speed up. I started to get dizzy and clutched onto the desk, blinking awya tears. I started to sweat and it felt like I was choking.

"Echo, are you okay?" My teacher asked. I looked up and saw everyone was looking at me. I shook my head, feeling tears roll down my face.

"Samantha, take her to the nurse." My teacher told the girl next to me. The girl nodded and helped me out of my desk, grabbing my stuff. She walked me out of the room and down to the nurse's office.

"Echo, take slow, deep breaths." The nurse said. I nodded and tried to slow down my breathing. She wiped the sweat off of my forehead. "Do you want me to call your parents?"

"H-Haven." I managed to say, still trying to calm down.

"Haven Purdy?" I nodded. She went over to her desk and looked up Haven to see what class he was in. Five minutes later, Haven rushed into the nurse's office, wrapping his arms around me.

"Are you okay? What happened?" He asked. I cuddled into his body and continued to try to calm down. I finally calmed down and sat up straight.

"T-They talked about r-rpe in health." I said.

"Steven can't hurt you Echo." Haven said, holding me close.

"I-I know, it's just-" I stuttered.

"I know. It's okay." He said, kissing my cheek.

"Echo, do you want me to call your parents?" The nurse asked.

"No, it's fine. I can go back to class." I said, standing up. I thank the nurse, Haven and I leaving.

"Are you sure you don't want your parents called?" He asked.

"No. I haven't made it through a full day of school since...you know. I need to stop letting Steven run my life." I said.

"Well, just text me if you need me, okay?" I nodded and he smiled, kissing my forehead. He walked me back to class and hugged me before I walked in.

IMPORTANT: I am going to be gone from Sunday the 13th to Friday the 18th. I will not be around a computer at all. I will try my best to update normally, but I don't know what it's going to be like for me. I will be back home on Tuesday for the night so I can update Crow's Echo and Picture Perfect. If I don't get Lost It All up on Monday, I will post on Tuesday. So, bare with me if something doesn't get posted this next week :)
