Chapter 84: Christmas

ECHO'S POV

"Echo! Haven!" My mom exclaimed as she opened the door.

"Hi mom." I said, hugging her.

"Hey Niki." Haven said as we walked in.

"We're still waiting on a few people, go ahead and have a seat, grab some food." My mom said. I walked into the living room to see my dad, my siblings and all of BVB with their families except for Haven's family.

We waited five more minutes until we heard the doorbell ring. I looked and saw Haven's family walked in.

"HAVEN!" His little sister shouted, running up to him and hugging him.

"Hey Harmony." He chuckled.

"Okay, let's get started." My mom said. We all began with opening presents, everyone getting the usual stuff.

"I have one more present for you Echo." Haven said.

"Really?" I asked and he nodded. He got on one knee and my heart stopped. "Haven, what are you doing?" I looked over at my dad who was as pale as a ghost, his eyes wide. His fists were clenched and my mom had her arm across his chest, blocking him from getting up.

"Echo, the time we were apart, really got me thinking." He said, pulling out a black, velvet box.

"Haven." I said, tears coming to my eyes. He opened it to reveal a silver band with diamonds.

"I want this to be a symbol of my promise to you to be faithful. Calm down, it's only a promise ring." He chuckled. I slapped his arm and crossed my arms over my chest.

"HAVEN! YOU FUCKING SCARED ME! FUCK YOU YOU ASSHOLE!" I yelled and he just laughed.

"So, is that a yes?"

"Of course it's a yes, never do it again." He laughed and slipped the ring onto my finger. He pulled a simple silver band out of his pocket and slipped it on his own finger. "You're so fucking cheesy." I giggled.

"But you love me." I nodded and leaned in, kissing his lips. "I love you too." He said.
