Chapter 34

ANDY'S POV

"Hey, I'm going to step outside to make a few calls, alright?" I told Niki and she nodded as I left the room. I dialed Ashley's number first, hoping he picked up.

"Hey man, what's up?"

"I need you to get to the hospital. Bring Haven and Riot, Harmony if you want. I know Niki is going to want her best friend right now and dude, I need you."

"Is everything okay with the baby?"

"Yeah, Echo got in a pretty serious car accident."

"Oh god. We'll be right there."

"Thanks;" I said and hung up. I took a walk around the hospital, hoping to clear my mind. Ashley texted me that they were here  and I made my way to the waiting room. I walked in and Haven rushed up to me, hugging me tightly. I hugged him back as he cried into my shirt. Poor kid.

"W-What happened." Haven sobbed. I sighed and bit my lip. "Don't sugar coat it."

"She's in a coma. They don't know if she's going to wake up or not. If she does wake up, she could be brain dead." He dropped to his knees and just broke down.

"Where's Niki?" Riot asked.

"In Echo's room." I said, telling her the room number as she walked past me. "Thanks for coming man." I said, hugging Ashley.

"No problem." He said, hugging me back before helping his son off the ground and into a chair.

"Do you think you coudl take the boys home with you? They still have school and they'll just be out here while we're in there with Echo. I don't want to leave Niki and I know Niki doesn't want to leave Echo. Just until we can kind of compose ourselves a bit?"

"Of course man, take as long as you need." Ashley smiled.

"Thanks. Can you let the rest of the band know?"

"Of course." He said, pulling out his phone.

"Nate, Davey, you're going to stay at Ashley's for a while, okay?" They nodded and I smiled at them. "Haven, do you want to go see Echo?" I asked and he nodded.

"Come on, I'll bring you back." I said and he stood up, following me to Echo's room. We walked in and Riot looked back at us.

"Niki, why don't we go get something to eat?" Riot suggested and Niki nodded, both of the girls leaving the room. Haven barley made it to the chair before he collapsed into it, gripping Echo's hand.

"Echo, please don't leave me. I love you and I;m not ready to let you go. We still have a whole life to live, together. Please Echo, I can't go on without you." He sobbed. He leaned in and softly kissed Echo's cheek. I slowly walked up to him and placed my hand on his back. He stood up and hugged me tightly again. I hugged him back and let a few tears escape my eyes.

"Haven, I just want to say I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for not trusting you guys and misjudging you and just being an ass to you. You may look like your dad, but you don't act completley like him. I see that you really love my daughter and I'm glad she has someone as great as you."

"Thanks Andy." He smiled, pulling away and wiping his face.

Haven decided to stay the night while his parents went home with Davey and Nate. The guys in BVB and the girls in BTE stopped by to say hi and to see Echo, but didn't stay too long. The hospital brought in three cots for Niki, Haven and I. I just want Echo to be okay.
