ANDY'S POV

"Echo, wake up." I said, shaking her. "You're going to be late."

"I'm not going to school." She said.

"Come on Echo."

"No. I'm not going to school. I don't ever want to see his fucking face again."

"Is this about Haven?"

"You don't understand dad. Just leave me alone."

"Echo tell me what happened."

"It's nothing."

"Dad, Steven is here." Davey said.

"Echo's not going to school. Just tell him to take you to school if he can."

"Alright." He said and left.

"I'm not leaivng until you tell me what the hell is going on!"

"I called Haven last night, alright? I wanted to see why he was ignoring me but it totally backfired on me."

"What'd he say? What'd he do?" I asked, sitting down on the bed. I wanted to know if I should let this go or bring it up with Ashley.

"He called me a slut. He said I'm a bitch and a slut just like my mom. He said I use my looks to get what I want and I take advantage of people. He called me a selfish, heartless, careless bitch and that I deserve to burn in hell." She sobbed and I took a deep breath, wrapping my arms around her, trying to stop myself from screaming.

Oh boy am I going to give that family hell. No one talks to or about my little girl or my wife like that.

"It's okay Echo. You are none of that."

"I-I know, j-just...it really hurt. I thought he was my friend but I guess I was wrong. I don't even know what I did to anger him!"

"Don't worry about him Echo. Are you sure you don't want to go to school? I can take you."

"I'm sure."

"Okay, I love you." I said, hugging her and kissing her forehead.

"I love you too." She said as I stood up. I walked out of the room and walked downstairs, grabbing my keys.

"Where are you going?" NIki asked.

"Talk to Ashley."

"Why? What happened? Where's Echo?"

"She's up in her room, she's not going to school today."

"Why?" I explained to her what Haven said and she gasped.

"Yeah." I said.

"Okay, just try not to make this a family feud. It's bad enough Haven and Echo are fighting, we don't need the two of you fighting."

"I know." I said, opening the door. "I love you."

"I love you too." She said, heading to the stairs. "I'm going to go talk to Echo."

"Alright." I said and left the house. I walked out to the car and drove to Ashley and Riot's house, hoping Ashley was home. I parked in the driveway and got out, knocking on their door.

"Hey Andy." Ashley smiled as he answered the door.

"Ashley, your son has gone too far."

"Oh god, what did he do now?" Ashley groaned.

"Who is it Ashley?"

"It's Andy. Haven did something to Echo again."

"Ah fuck." Riot siad, showing up to the door. "Andy, I'm sorry for whatever he did. He's got his father's brain."

"Hey!"

"I'm just saying."

"So, what happened?" Ashley asked.

"Echo called Haven last night, jus to see why he was mad at her. He called her a slut, said she is a slut and a bitch just like Niki, said she uses her looks to get what she wants and takes advantage of people. He called her a selfish, heartless, careless bitch and said she deserves to burn in hell. Echo is in her room sobbing and refuses to go to school."

"Oh my lord Andy, I'm so sorry." Ashley said.

"It's fine, I just thought it should be brought to your attention."

"Thank you Andy. We'll make Haven appologize." Riot said.

"Thank you. Also, I know this is none of my buisness, but do you know why Haven's been so nasty towards Echo lately?" I asked and Ashley sighed.

"Okay, I shouldn't tell you this but you cannot tell Echo, agreed?" He asked and I nodded. "Haven's in love with Echo."

"He's what!"

"Yeah. I talked to him about ditching Echo and Davey, and he admitted it. He said he's tried to go after other girls, but he really really likes Echo."

"Wow. Well, I guess that would kind of explain it."

"I do agree he's taking jealousy to a whole new level and being flat out rude and we'll have a talk with him about it." Ashley said.

"Thank you. That's all I'm asking."

"I'm so sorry Andy." RIot said.

"It's fine." I said, going back to my car.
