Chapter 59
HAVEN'S POV
Do you ever want to see your girlfriend again?
I read the note, tears coming to my eyes.
Find your next clue at the bar.
I stuffed the note in my pocket and raced to the bar. I ran around the venue for a few hours before I found her in an allyway next to the venue.
"Echo!" I exclaimed, running up to her. I dropped to my knees and held her close. She cryed into my shoulder and I brought her into the light to examine her. She had cuts all over her body including some bruises that had already started to form.
"Are you okay? What happened?" I asked, pushing the hair out of her face.
"I-I don't know who did it, but they beat me, and broke my arm. I heard my bone snap." I picked up her arm and she cried out in pain.
"I'll take you to the hospital." I said, standing up and carrying her to my car. I layed her in the backseat and then I got in the front seat, quickly driving her to the hospital. I sat her down in a chair and filled out some forms for her, handing them back to the nurse.
I sat down next to her and grabbed her hand, holding it tightly.
"Echo Biersack." We both stood up and they stopped me.
"We're going to need to see her alone for about ten minutes." The doctor said.
"Haven." Echo cried.
"Please, just let me go back with her."
"I'm sorry sir, certain areas are restricted. We'll bring you back as soon as we can, we promise." He said and walked through the doors. I sighed and kicked the wall.
"Sir, please just sit down and wait quietly." The nurse said. I groaned and sat down, putting my head into my hands and crying.
"My daughter Echo Biersack was brought here a few minutes ago." I heard Andy say and picked my head up to see Andy talking to a nurse.
"There are some forms that her and her boyfriend were unable to fill out." The nurse said, handing the forms to Andy.
"Thank you." He said and turned around. He spooted me and sat next to me.
"So, what happened?" He asked me.
"I'm so sorry." I sobbed.
"Haven, what happened?"
"I-I took Echo to a concert and-and she got kidnapped and it's all my fault." I cried. "The kidnapper left clues for me and sent me on a few hour quest to find her. I finally found her in an ally next to the venue, cut and bruises and with a possibly broken arm."
"Haven you did the right thing. You looked for her and then you brought her here. None of this is your fault."
"I-I shouldn't have let her out of my sight."
"Haven, stop beating yourself up over this. You did everything right and I'm proud of you. I'm proud to have you dating my daughter."
"Really?"
"Yes, you're a good man Haven, you get it from your dad." He chuckled.
"Thanks Andy." I smiled.
