ECHO'S POV

"I'm going to get you!" Haven screamed.

"Nuh-uh!" I said as we sprinted around the backyard.

"Tag! You're it!" He exclaimed as he tapped my shoulder and turned around, running the opposite way.

"Haven! It's time to go home!" His mom called. We ignored her and kept running around. "Haven!"

"Haven Michael Purdy!" His dad called.

"Awwh! Just a few more minutes!" He begged.

"No, you have school tomorrow. Let's go." His dad said.

"Bye." He sighed.

"Bye." I said, hugging him. "Tag." I whispered, hitting his shoulder and then running into the house.

I saw Haven and smirked, running and jumping on his back.

"Oof!" He exclaimed as I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. "Hey Echo." He chuckled.

"No fair, you didn't even look back to see who it was!"

"Only you would do this to me Echo."He laughed. I jumped down and leaned against the locker.

"So, sixth grade." He said and I nodded.

"I'm finally away from my brothers."

"Well, for two years." He smirked.

"Ugh, don't remind me." I groaned.

"But then you get two more years without Davey."

"True." I smirked. "I love them, but just not at school." I said and he nodded.

"I know how you feel." He said.

"It feels so weird being at the bottom again." I said as some taller students passed us, whom I assume were eigth graders.

"You don't even remember being at the bottom."

"Still." I said. "When should probably get to our first class."

"Probably." I said.

"What the fuck do you want?" Haven asked.

"Um, excuse me. I want to know why the fuck you're ignoring me."

"Well maybe I finally realized the kind of person you really are."

"Oh really? What kind of person am I then?"

"You are a fucking slut."

"Excuse me?"

"Yeah, you use your looks to get what you want. You're a bitch and a slut, just like your mom. You take advantage of people because you're fucking selfish. You act like you care about people but you really don't. You are a selfish, careless, heartless bitch who deserves to burn in fucking hell."
