Chapter 47
ECHO'S POV
*One Week Later*
My parents have been home with Legacy for a few days and my grandparents just left a few hours ago. My mom was resting so my dad called the three of us into the living room to talk to us.
"What is it?" I asked, sitting next to my brothers.
"I'm going to be leaving for tour, really soon. Sooner than I would like, but we've put this off for too long. So, that means I'm going to need you guys to help out your mom when I'm gone, okay? I might bring grandma back out here and of coure the wives and your mom's band is going to help out."
"Are you going to make it back in time for my graduation?" I asked, considering it was Feburary and his tours usually last for three months.
"We don't have the exact schedule yet. Dates are still getting moved around and it's all up in the air right now. But, I'm going to try my hardest to be there, okay?"
"Okay." I said, knowing that meant he probably won't come.
"Okay, can I count on you three to help out?"
"Legacy cries a lot and keeps me awake." Nate whined.
"That's what babies do. She'll start sleeping through the night...eventually. Until then, I suggest wearing earplugs or sleeping with headphones."
"Ugh!" Nate groaned.
"That's the kind of shit I don't want when I leave. Your mom is stressed enough with the extreme lack of sleep and she's still kind of hormonal, so just pretend she's still pregnant and treat her like you did a month ago. Remember what I said? If she tells you to do something, you better do it right then or she will be on your fucking ass."
"Got it." We sighed.
"Good."

"You know what we've never talked about?" I said as we laid on the hood of Haven's car. My fingers were laced with his and I was staring up at the sky. This has become a normal thing for us.
"What?" He asked.
"Our future."
"What do you mean?"
"Haven, we graduate in three months. What's going to happen to us? College? Jobs? Moving? What!"
"Echo, you know neither of us are going to college. I have a job, you can get one if you would like."
"Haven, I'm serious."
"I am too!" He exclaimed, sliding onto the ground.
"Where are you going?"
"Just trust me." He said, holding his hand out to me. I sighed and grabbed it. He pulled me off of the car and opened the passenger side door for me. I slid in and he closed it, getting in on the driver's side and starting up the car.
"Haven, where are we going?"
"Just trust me." He repeated. We drove for about ten minutes before he pulled off to the side of the road.
"Haven?"
"Put this on." He said, handing me a blindfold.
"What?"
"Put it on." I sighed and slipped it over my eyes, tying it behind my head. "Look at me." I turned my head in his direction. "How many fingers am I holding up?"
"I don't know, two?"
"Good."
"Haven! What the hell are you doing?"
"It's a surprise! Just trust me." He said, starting to drive again. I groaned and slumped in my seat. A few minutes later, he turned off the car and got out.
"Can I take this off now?" I asked as he opened my door.
"Nope." He said, picking me up out of the car.
"Haven, I can walk."
"Do you want to walk up stairs blindfolded, I don't think so." He said.
"Stairs? Haven!"
"Shh." He said, putting me down and grabbing my hand, leading me somewhere. I heard a pair of keys be pulled out of his pocket and heard a door open.
"Now you can take it off." He said. I let go of his hand and pushed the blindfold off of my eyes. I looked around to see we were in an empty apartment.
"Welcome home!" He exclaimed.
"H-H-Haven."
"It's nothing much, but it's something."
"Haven! This is the greatest thing ever!" I exclaimed. "I love you so much."
"I love you too." He smiled, kissing my lips.
"When are we moving in?"
"I was hoping a few weeks after graduation. I have some money saved up for furniture."
"Sounds like a plan." I smiled, kissing him again.
