ECHO'S POV

*One Week Later*

Haven finally convinced me to tell our parents. We decided we would get both of our families together and tell them all at once.

"We should just get this over with." Haven said as he walked into my house.

"Fine." I sighed, closing the door. "Mom, dad. We need to tell you something. All of you." I said.

"Nate! Davey! Can you come down here please?" My mom asked. My brothers ran downstairs and sat down in the living room with my parents, Haven's parents and his sister. We stood in front of them and I looked up at him.

"We're dating." Haven announced.

"What." My dad's jaw dropped.

"HA! You owe me ten bucks Biersack!" Ashley shouted.

"We never bet money on this!" My dad exclaimed.

"Ashley, sit down." Riot said and he obeyed.

"Dad!" I said with pleading eyes.

"No Echo! You know what I've said!"

"I don't care dad! He's not like that!"

"Echo, he's a Purdy and he always will be!"

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Ashley asked.

"Don't play dumb with me Ashley. I know how you were with the ladies, I watched you go through woman after woman, whore after whore, coming back to the bus drunk every night with a girl under each arm."

"Woah! That shit is behind me and you know it!"

"It's in your blood Ashley and I don't want my daughter to have to deal with that!"

"We raised Haven better than that. I didn't have my parents around, Haven does. We taught him to be a respectful gentleman and you fucking know that!"

"Davey, Nate, Echo, can you guys go upstairs? Haven, you and your sister can go up there too." My mom said.

"No! Haven is still a Purdy and a pervert and I refuse to let him be alone with my daughter!" My dad shouted.

"Fine, kids, go upstairs. Haven, Harmony, go to the basement."

NIKI'S POV

"You need to fucking calm down." I said, glaring at Andy.

"No! I need to protect my daughter!"

"You daughter doesn't need any protecting from my son."

"Andy, come with me." I said, standing up and dragging him out to the back patio. I closed the door and pushed him down into a chair.

"You are acting so fucking childish and rude!"

"I've told Echo that she's not allowed to date him!"

"What are you going to do when she's eighteen? When she can see whoever she wants."

"I'm trying to get the idea in her head before she can make her own decisions."

"You sound like such a fucking hypocrite Andy."

"What are you talking about?"

"Do you realize you sound exactly like my parents right now?"

"What? No I don't!"

"Yes you do Andy! Haven is good for Echo, can't you see that? He's helped her through this whole drama with Steven and it's a miracle that's she gotten over it and moved on with someone she actually has feelings for!"

"She doesn't have feelings for him. It's just hormones talking, they won't even last a month. Haven will cheat on Echo and I can say I told you so." I chewed on my lip and slapped Andy hard across the face. The force of my slap turned his head and a bright red mark was already forming. I blinked away the tears in my eyes, glaring at him.

"You are fucking pissing me off Andy. Admit it, you're just scared!"

"I'm not scared." He said, not looking at me.

"Well, don't talk to me until you can admit it. I know you Andy. This isn't the man I married." I said, going to the door and opening it.

"Niki, wait." He said and I stopped, not turning to look at him. "I-I admit it." He said quietly.

"You admit what?" i asked, closing the door and turning back around.

"You know what I'm talking about, don't make me say it."

"Say it."

"I-I'm scared." He said and a smile found it's way onto my face. I sat down in the chair next to Andy and grabbed his hand.

"It's okay that you're scared Andy."

"I-I just don't want Echo to grow up and leave us. I mean, she's our only daughter and I just want to protect her. I guess I'm still kind of pissed off at Steven for doing what he did, hurting my little girl."

"So am I, but Steven can't hurt her anymore. Haven is here to protect her and he will never, ever hurt her. You've known Haven since he was born, he would never hurt a fly. If he really was like his dad, he would've fucked every chick in that school by now."

"True." He chuckled.

"Can you at least try to be happy, for Echo?"

"I'll try." He sighed. We got up and walked back in, sitting on the couch.

"Andy!" Riot gasped. "What happened to your face?" She asked, tracign the red mark on his cheek.

"I smacked him." I said with a smirk and Riot just laughed.

"She got you good." Riot said.

"Well, it was just what I needed. I'm sorry, I just let my feelings overcome me. Echo just got over this whole thing with her ex and I just don't want her to get hurt again."

"You know we raised Haven better than that." Riot said and Andy nodded.

"And, the reason Haven said all of that shit was because he was jealous and he really liked Echo. I doubt he'll be giving you anymore problems." Ashley smiled.

"How about we get the kids back in here." I suggested and they nodded.

"Echo! Haven!" Riot called. Haven came out of the basement while Echo came running down the stairs.

ECHO'S POV

"Yes?" I asked as I stood next to Haven.

"Andy, can I just say that I really like Echo. She makes me happy and I make her happy. We've only been dating for two weeks and I promise I will never hurt her." Haven said.

"You guys have my blessing." My dad smiled. I ran over to him and hugged him tightly, kissing his cheek.

"Thank you so much daddy."

"Anything to make you happy." He said. I ran over to Haven and hugged him tightly, feeling his arms wrap around my body and he kissed the top of my head. I lifted my head and placed a soft, quick kiss on his lips.

"You guys can go upstairs until dinner is ready." My mom said. My dad started to protest but my mom just glared at him.

"Leave the door open." He said quickly.

"Got it." I said, grabbing Haven's hand and pulling him up to my room.
