Chapter 7: First Date

ECHO'S POV

"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"Hey Echo, want to come to the movies with me? I guess for our first date." Steven asked.

"Sure! That sounds awesome."

"Awesome. I'll pick you up in an hour?"

"Sounds good."

"See you then, love you."

"Love you too." I said and hung up. I got up and walked downstairs. "DAD!"

"Yes?"

"Steven is picking me up in an hour to go to the movies."

"Awhh, you're first date." My mom smiled.

"DAVEY!" My dad called and he ran down the stairs.

"Yeah?"

"You're going to the movies tonight." My dad said, throwing money at him.

"Really?"

"What? No!" I exclaimed. No way in hell was I letting my little brother tag along on my date. "Dad, I know you were an only child, but it's fucking lame to bring your little brother on a date."

"Hey! Languge!" My mom said and I sighed.

"Dad! Come on!" I whined.

"Davey goes or you both stay here." My dad said.

"No way! I'm not going to be a third wheel and be ditched by them." Davey said and my dad groaned.

"NATE!" My dad called and my youngest brother ran downstairs and into the living room.

"There Davey, now you're not a third wheel." My dad said like all problems were solved.

"Woah, what?" Nate asked.

"You're going to the movies." My dad said.

"Um, no!" I exclaimed.

"Echo, take your brothers or all three of you are staying in this house."

"Ugh! You're ruining my fucking life!" I exclaimed, going to the stairs.

"Echo Melody Biersack!" My mom exclaimed.

"Sorry." I said, going up the stairs.

***

I heard a knock on the door and sprinted down the stairs, groaning when I saw my dad got it first.

"Steven and I are just going to have a little talk." My dad said, walking out of the house and closing the door.

"Mom! Can you control your husband?" I groaned, walking into the kitchen.

"I'm sorry honey, I've been trying to control him for seventeen years. But you look pretty." My mom smiled.

"I just hope dad doesn't scare him off."

"He's just protecting you. You should probably get your brothers down."

"Do I really have to take them?" I whined.

"You heard what your father said." She said and I groaned for about the tenth time that day.

"DAVEY! NATE! GET YOUR BUTTS DOWN HERE NOW!" I yelled up the stairs. Soon, my brothers appeared at the top and walked down, just as my dad walked back into the house.

"Alright, here's some money." My dad said, giving the boys some money.

"Kay, bye dad." I said as the four of us walked out of the house.

"Be safe!" He said.

"Sorry I have to bring my brothers." I said as we got into the car.

"It's fine. I'm sure they won't bother us." Steven smiled at me, starting up the car. "What are you guys going to see, have you decided?" Steven asked them as he pulled out of the driveway.

"The new Transformers movie." Davey answered.

"See. I'm taking you to go see The Fault In Our Stars." He said, patting my thigh.

"Oooh." I smiled. We got to the movies, got our tickets and snacks and then went our seperate ways. Let's just say Steven and I didn't really see much of the movie, but all well, there's always Redbox, right?

We walked out and waited for my brothers to get out of their movie.

"Hey, I have an idea. How about I give your brothers money to go see another movie and we head out to the car." He smirked, kissing my neck.

"Alright." I smiled, just as my brothers walked over to us.

"Hey, why don't you go see another movie." Steven said, handing the money to Davey.

"Let's go see the X-Men movie!" Nate exclaimed.

"Alright." Davey said with a raised eyebrow and they went to go buy the tickets. Steven smield and took my hand, taking me out into the parking lot. Now I understand why he parked in the back. We got into the backseat and made out...a lot. But, that's all that happened, I swear.

We heard banging on the window and looked to see my brothers outside. I pushed Steven off of me and climbed into the front seat. Thank goodness we were clothed. Steven unlocked the doors and got out, getting into the front seat as well.

"Did you like your movies?" I asked, fixing my hair in the mirror.

"Yeah." They said.

"What do you say to Steven?"

"Thank you." They said at the same time.

"You're welcome." Steven said, looking at them in the rear view mirror before smirking at me. He drove us home and I made the boys go inside and close the door behind them. Steven and I stood on the porch, holding hands and smiling at each other.

"I had a great time Steven." I smiled.

"Me too. I love you Echo."

"I love you too Steven." I smiled as he leaned in and kissed my lips. My dad banged on the window and I groaned, breaking the kiss and hugging Steven.

"Sorry about him."

"It's fine. I'll see you at school?"

"Yeah, bye." I said, opening the door.

"Bye." He said as I walked into the house.
