NIKI'S POV

\I paced around the living room and took a few deep breaths before dialing my mom's number, making sure I was calling from a private number of course.

"Hello?"

"Um, hi. It's Niki."

"Niki! It's so great to hear your voice! I ran into your daughter the oth-"

"I know, she told me."

"She really does look like you."

"Yeah, the boys look a lot like Andy."

"Oh. You have more kids?" 

"Yeah, two sons, Echo is our oldest."

"Well it's a shame I wasn't there to watch them grow up. How old are you boys?"

"Fourteen and twelve."

"Teenagers."

"Yeah."

"Would there be anyway I can meet them?"

"Mom, the whole reason you have never met them, is because you almost got Andy killed at our wedding!"

"We didn't alm-"

"YOU HELPED THOSE PIECE OF SHITS BREAK OUT OF JAIL! I KNOW YOU DID!"

"Niki-"

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY! ANDY IS MY HUSBAND, I LOVE HIM AND HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE! IF YOU CAN'T GET OVER THE FACT THAT I MARRIED HIM, THEN I DON'T WANT YOU ANYWHERE AROUND OUR KIDS." I was so fed up with this woman.

"Niki, you really could've-"

"YOU KNOW WHAT? FUCK YOU! STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY FAMILY!" I screamed and hung up. I slammed the phone onto the ground and dropped to the ground, sobbing. Andy ran over and held me close to him, placing kisses on my head.

"Why are they such horrible people Andy?"

"You don't need them Niki. You have the kids, my parents and even me! You've adopted my parents as your own, you don't need your parents."

"I love you Andy."

"I love you too NIki." He smiled, hugging me tightly.
