Chapter 19

NIKI'S POV

*One Week Later*

I parked in the driveway and took a moment to take a deep breath. I just got back from band practice and we were told that we have a tour starting in a month. Andy hates when I leave for tour but, it's my job and it's what I've gotta do.

I got out of the car and walked into the house to see andy on the phone.

"Alright, I'll discuss it with Niki. See ya." He said, hanging up the phone.

"Discuss what with me?" I asked, kicking off my shoes and placing my keys down.

"Um, Black Veil Brides has a tour next month."

"What? No way! So does BTE!"

"I hate leaving the kids with Kylie and Ella. I feel like it's too much trouble, especially because we have three. Plus, the kids are growing up and doing their own thing. And, Echo and Haven are dating now, which means they'll be in the same house for three months, I don't think so." He rambled.

"Andy. I was thinking, how about we leave the kids at home this time. Echo is sixteen, almost seventeen, I'm sure she can watch Davey and Nate."

"But Niki, Haven and Echo-"

"Are almost adults, they're smart. If anything happens, I give you permission to kick and scream all you want."

"Fine." He said and I smiled.

"So, we'll tell them when they get home?"

"Sure."

ECHO'S POV

"Kids, can you come down here please?" My mom called. The three of us walked down and sat in the living room with our parents.

"So, we're both going on tour in a month, for three months. I leave and then your dad leaves a few days later." My mom said.

"Awesome, I love the band house." Davey smiled.

"Actually, there's been a change in plans." My dad said.

"Are we going on tour?" Nate asked.

"No, you have school." My mom said. "We are trusting you guys to be able to be home alone."

"Echo, of course you'll be in charge." My dad added.

"But, Kylie or Ella will be stopping in to check on you everyday." My mom said.

"This is awesome." I smiled.

"Ground rules. You are to go straight to school and come straight home. If you need tutoring after school, arrange a ride with Kylie or Ella. No hanging out with friends...boyfriends." My dad said, glaring at me.

"Got it." We said. They went over some more rules before we were allowed to go back upstairs.
