Chapter 63

NIKI'S POV

"It feels nice outside today, doesn't it Legacy?" I smiled, reaching into her stroller and playing with her tiny hand. I decided to take a walk to the park with Legacy. There was no one else at the park so it was nice and quiet.

My band decided that after Legacy turned one, we would start touring again. Touring again meant leaving her with Andy and the boys for three months. I just wanted to spend as much time with her as I could.

I leaned back on the bench, and suddenly, a blindfold was put over my eyes and my hands were tied together. My mouth was covered and I was dragged off of the bench and into a car. That's the last thing I remember before I was knocked out.

I woke up to see I was in an empty field. I looked around and I didn't see Legacy.

"LEGACY? LEGACY!" I screamed, looking around for my baby. "Oh God, oh God, oh God!" I began to cry. I started to run, trying to get to anything that would tell me where I was. I finally made it to a small gas station and ran inside the building, to see someone standing behind the counter.

"Thank god!" I exclaimed.

"How can I help you?" The man asked.

"I-I need to know where I am. I-I was at a park near my house, and the next thing I know, I'm in a field!"

"You're right outside of Thousand Oaks."

"Oh god." I groaned. I checked my pockets but it looked like my phone had been stolen too. "Fuck!" I exclaimed. "Do you have a phone I can use by any chance? I need to call my husband."

"Of course." He said, handing a phone to me over the counter. I dialed Andy's number and tapped my foot as it rang.

"Hello?"

"Andy!"

"Niki?"

"I-I need help. Someone took Legacy!"

"What!"

"I-I was sitting at the park, and next thing I know, I was blindfolded and handcuffed and thrown into a car. I-I was knocked out and taken to a field in Thousand Oaks and now I really just need you to pick me up so we can find our baby." I cried.

"I'm on my way." I told him exactly where I was and then hung up.

"Thank you so much." I said, wiping my face.

"My pleasure." He smiled.

"Do you mind if I wait in here until my husband gets here?"

"Not at all, make yourself comfortable." He smiled.

"Thank you." I said, finding a spot on the floor to sit.
