HAVEN'S POV

I went to school the next day but had my dad pick me up after school and drove me to the hospital. Before I left for school this morning, I grabbed the picture of Echo and I at our junior prom.

We got to the hospital and I rushed in, going into Echo's room to see her sitting up in the bed. I walked in and her parents smiled at me.

"Your name was....Heaven, right?"

"Actually, it's Haven."

"Oh."

"But, you were close." I said, walking up to her bed. "I just wanted to ask you a question."

"Go ahead."

"Do you remember this at all?" I asked, showing her the picture.

"No. I'm sorry."

"This is a picture of us at our junior prom last year."

"Well, from all the pictures you've shown me, we looked pretty happy."

"We were! I loved you and you loved me."

"I'm so sorry Haven. I wish I could remember." She said, giving me a sympathetic look.

"It's okay." I sighed, turning around and going to an empty chair.
