ECHO'S POV

*One Week Later*

"Seriously Echo?" Haven asked as he walked into the room. I had made us an appointment for relationship counseling.

"Haven, we need this."

"Oh my god, it was one fucking time and I was drunk. I'm not out sleeping with a different girl every night! I'm not my fucking dad and you fucking know it."

"Haven, please sit down." The therapist said.

"This is so fucking stupid." He grumbled as he sat down on the couch on the opposite side of me.

"Now, I want each one of you to tell me what happened that caused this fighting, Echo, you go."

"Well, the most recent fight has been about him cheating on me. He went out, got drunk, and cheated."

"Haven?"

"Yeah." He sighed. "But I was drunk!"

"But you chose to get drunk!" I exclaimed.

"I expected to have a few drinks, Echo."

"You should have controlled yourself, Haven!"

"I was with the guys! I didn't keep track of the number of drinks I was having!"

"Echo, how does Haven cheating make you feel?" The therapist asked.

"It makes me feel really fucking horrible. It makes me feel like you can go out and find someone better, some prettier, just like that. It makes me feel replaceable. It makes me feel unimportant, unloved! Do you know how that fucking feels Haven Michael Purdy?"

"Unloved? God fucking damnit, Echo! I fucking love you and you fucking know it. Even though you don't remember, I stayed by your side when you were in a coma and had to be dragged out of the hospital and forced to go to school! Who worked their ass off to help you remember me when you got in that crash and lost your memory? Me! Who protected you from your ex multiple times? Me! I bought an apartment for us to live in right out of high school! I've been with you for three, almost four years and you think I don't fucking love you? For God sakes, I love you so much that I bought us a dog and then I wanted a fucking baby with you!"

"You badgered me about the fucking baby until I snapped! I had to borrow my baby sister to prove to you that we, two eighteen year olds, can't raise a fucking baby!"

"Haven, how do your acts make you feel?"

"I feel fucking horrible! The second I woke up and realized what I had done, my heart sank, knowing I would have to tell you, Echo! Seeing how bad I hurt you, hurts me, so fucking bad! After you left, I broke! I grabbed all the alcohol I could find in the apartment and drank it. Your dad fucking beat me and choke me, but I didn't even try to fight back! I wanted to die, Echo! I hurt you so bad and that was the last thing I ever wanted to do. I probably wouldn't be here if my dad didn't run in and pull your dad off of me! You may have forgiven me, but I don't believe you have!"

"Okay Haven, I haven't. You cheated on me, how am I supposed to forgive you that easily? I could see that you had been drinking, the look in your eyes, the smell on your breath, your body movements, your voice. If I had told you that I didn't forgive you, you may have went and killed yourself? I have no fucking idea what you're capable of Haven!" He just looked down and sighed.

"I wouldn-"

"Don't you dare fucking tell me you wouldn't have at least thought about suicide Haven." He sighed again and didn't look at me.

"You're right." He said.

"I don't want to lose you Haven, we just need some time apart. We've been having too many fights lately, so this is why I had us do this, so we can resolve our fights before our relationship goes any further."

"Okay." He said.
