Chapter 73

ECHO'S POV

"Alright, I think I talked a little sense into him. Why don't you go talk to him?" My mom said.

"Okay." I said, getting up and walking out. I drove home and went up to the apartment, opening the door.

"I'm so sorry Echo!" Haven exclaimed, hugging me. "I'll stop pressuring you, I promise. I just don't want to lose you." He cried.

"You're not going to lose me Haven," I smiled. "I promise. I love you to much to leave you." I laughed, grabbing his face and kissing his lips.

*One week later*

There was a knock at the door and I smiled. I opened it to see my mom.

"Hey!" I said.

"Hey, do you really think this is going to work?" She asked.

"I hope." I said.

"Here you go, give me a call if you need anything." My mom said, handing my little sister to me. My mom let Haven and I watch Legacy for a week to give Haven a taste of parenthood. Prove to him that he's not ready yet. The only thing is, Haven is at work and doesn't know about my plan. He's coming home to a big surprise.

"Thank you." I smiled as she left.

"Hi Legacy." I smiled, sitting on the couch with her.

"Eho!" She smiled, reaching up and tugging on my hair. Sure, she's not a newborn baby, but she's only one, so she's still dependent. Also, my mom said she hasn't been sleeping through the night well lately, so that's perfect to give Haven a dose of parenthood.

"I'm home." Haven said, walking in. "Oh, Legacy's here."

'Yeah." I said. He grabbed Legacy from me and sat on the couch, playing with her hands.

"I can't wait to be a father someday." He smiled and then looked over at me. "Someday."

"I get it Haven." I sighed.

"Anyway, why is she here?"

"My mom thought it would be a good idea to let Legacy stay here for a week, give us an idea of how parenthood is."

"Awesome!" He exclaimed.

"So, I'm taking off work until Wednesday, do you think you could take off Thursday and Friday?"

"Sure."

"Great." I smiled and kissed his cheek.
