ECHO'S POV

*One Week Later*

"Hey Echo, how was your day at school?" My mom asked.

"Fine." I said, kicking off my shoes by the front door. Haven has been ignoring me all week and I'm getting real sick of his shit. "I actually have to tell you guys something."

"Alright. Andy! Pause the TV." My mom said as we walked into the living room.

"Whyyyy!" He whined.

"Echo has something to tell us." She said.

"Yes Echo?" My dad asked as my mom sat next to him on the couch and I sat in one of the chairs that were in the living room.

"Well, I guess I'll just come right out and say it. I have a boyfriend." A huge smile spread across my mom's face but my dad went ghost white.

"I-It's not Haven, right?"

"No, dad. I told you I don't like him! It's a new boy at my school. We've been dating for a week."

"What's his name?" My mom asked.

"Steven."

"And when are we going to meet this Steven?" My dad asked.

"I don't know, whenever. Anyway, that's all I wanted to tell you."

"Well that's great honey." My mom said with a smile as I walked to the stairs.

HAVEN'S POV

I threw the car keys on the table when I walked into the house and stomed over to the stairs.

"Haven!" My mom called but I ignored her. "Haven!" My mom tried again.

"HAVEN MICHEAL PURDY! YOU LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER RIGHT NOW!"

"WHAT!" I screamed, turning around to see my parents.

"What is your deal Haven? You've come home angry for the past week!"

"It's nothing." I said, going back up the stairs. My dad chased me and grabbed me by my shirt, dragging me to the living room and throwing me on the couch.

"You're going to tell us what the fuck is wrong with you." My dad hissed.

"Ashley-"

"No Riot! This has gone on too long! He's being disrespectful to us and Echo! Andy told me you ditched Echo and Davey when they were expectng you to give them a ride home! What if Andy or Niki weren't home, huh? What if they were stranded!"

"But they weren't!"

"What if they were Haven! Now tell me what the fuck is wrong!"

"IF ECHO NEEDS A RIDE HOME SO BAD, WHY DOESN'T SHE JUST ASK HER FUCKING BOYFRIEND!" I screamed. There, it's out, my reason for my actions the past week.

"Haven, what are you-"

"Riot, I've got this. So you're saying Echo has a boyfriend, thus making you jealous?" My dad asked and I nodded.

"I know, it's stupid. I just...I just really really like her." I groaned.

"HA I CALLED IT!" MY dad yelled.

"Ashley, you said they were going to end up together, not Haven liking Echo."

"What are you guys talking about?"

"When they found out they were having a girl and we found out we were having you, I said that you two are going to end up together."

"Oh wow, already deciding my fate before I was born. Thanks." I joked wih a smile.

"Look Haven, you know how Andy feels about you and Echo dating. Maybe you should ry to go after a different girl." My dad suggested.

"Dad, you don't understand. I-I love her! I've tried to go after different girls, I really have! I just can't get her off of my mind."

"Can you just try to be more civil around Echo?"

"I'll try." I sighed.
