Chapter 38

HAVEN'S POV

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Echo asked innocently.

"W-What?" I asked, looking at her, blinking back tears.

"I don't know who you are, I'm sorry, should I?" I looked back at her parents and mine and they werre giving me sympathetic looks.

"Echo, it's me! Haven!" She had a confused look on her face and Andy came up behind me.

"Echo, you remember Haven, don't you? You grew up together, a month apart. You know, your boyfriend."

"I'm sorry, I don't remember." I turned around and walked out of the room. I ran down the hallway, hearing footsteps behind me.

"HAVEN!" My dad exclaimed as he reached out and grabbed my wrist, pulling me close to him. "Haven."

"Just leave me alone." I said, trying to yank my wrist out of his grip.

"Haven, you can't just run."

"I've waited for weeks for her to wake up and then she can't even remember me."

"It's not her fault Haven!"

"I know, it's just...it's not fair!" I exclaimed, tears rolling down my face. "She remembers everyone else but me! Do you know how hard that is?"

"It's got to be hard son, I don't doubt it. Look, Andy went to go get the doctor, we'll see what's going on, okay?"

"Okay."

"Do you just want to come back to the room for a little bit then I'll take you home?"

"Sure." I said. He nodded and we walked back into the room. I sat down in an empty chair and stared down at my feet.

"Haven, can I see you out here?" Andy asked from the doorway and I nodded, getting up and walking back out of the room. He closed the door and sighed as I saw the doctor walking away.

"What's up?" I asked.

"So, the doctor said she has amnesia."

"Why does she remember everyone else but me."

"We don't know Haven. It could be like this for a few hours, day, weeks, maybe even months."

"No! Nononononononono no! I can't wait that long."

"He said to try to jog her memory. Maybe show her some pictures, or important items that have memories attatched to them. If it's still gone by the time she gets out, maybe take her to a few places you guys have had dates." I ran in and pulled my phone out of my pocket, going up to Echo.

"Do these remind you of anything?" I asked hopefully, going through the pictures of us.

"I'm sorry, no." She said and I sighed, going back to sit down.

ANDY'S POV

Haven sat down and I stood up, walking over to Echo.

"Echo, do you remember what happened?" I asked.

"I was driving home from the store and I looked to my right and saw a man inside the car, coming right at me, and it was too late to move out of the way."

"So the name Robert Jackson doesn't ring a bell?"

"No."

"Okay." I sighed, turning around and going to sit down when there was a knock on the door and a police officer walked in.

"Can I talk to Andy Biersack?"

"Yes sir." I said, following him out into the hallway.

"We finally got Mr. Jackson to confess that someone payed him to crash into your daughter."

"What! Who was it?"

"A Ms. Juliet Simms." He said and my eyes widened. I turned around and took a few steps away, taking a few deep breaths before walking back to the officer. "So, I'm going to assume you know her?"

"Yes. My wife and I actually have a restraining order against her."

"Okay, you may want to get some for your kids as well just so we can take legal action if she tries to contact your kids."

"Thank you so much officer."

"No problem." He said and walked down the hall. I walked in and chewed on my lip.

"What'd he say?" Niki asked.

"Echo, did you run into someone at the store?"

"Oh yeah. There was this girl that wanted me to tell you to contact her. Uhh, Juliet Simms, I think." I heard Niki, Riot and Ashley gasp.

"Did she-" Riot asked and I nodded.

"This is out of fucking control Niki!" I exclaimed.

"Now Andy, let's just calm do-"

"I'm not going to fucking calm down! That-that she devil put our daughter in the hospital, has already fucked with us more then once, who's to say she won't go after one of the boys next, or-or Legacy?"

"Dad! What the fuck is going on?"

"Andrew! You're scaring them!" Niki exclaimed.

"I'm going to fucking kill her. I'm actually going to do it this time. I can't take this anymore." I said, going for the door but she grabbed me and stopped me.

"No, because you're going to jail and you can't go to jail. So, you are going to stay here and let the police handle it, okay?" She said, glaring at me with her hands on her hips.

"Fine." I sighed.

"Dad! What is going on?" Echo asked.

"Juliet's the reason I have a fucking bullet scar. Juliet's the reason for all of the shit in our life, and you are to never talk to her again, you understand?" I asked and she nodded. "Good." I said and turned to Niki.

"We're getting restraining orders for the kids."

"Got it." Niki said, nodding.

"Well, I think we're going to head out." Ashley said and Riot agreed.

"Niki, do you mind if I go home for the night? I-I just, need to clear my head." I said.

"Of course, just don't do anything stupid." She said and I nodded. "I don't want to wake up and see you on the news."

"Got it, I'm going straight home, I love you."

"I love you too." She said, kissing my lips.

"Goodnight Echo, love you."

"Love you too dad." She said as I hugged her.

"I'm so glad you're okay." I said, kissing her cheek.

"Me too." She said as we pulled apart. I followed Ashley and his family out, Haven kind of dragging his feet.

"It'll get better, I promise." I said, squeezing his shoulders.
