Chapter 87

ECHO'S POV

Haven and I walked up to my parents' house and knocked on the door.

"Echo, I'm scared." Haven said.

"Me too." I said, letting out a sigh. The door opened and my mom smiled.

"Echo! Haven! Come in, come in!" My mom said, hugging us before letting us in. "What's up?"

"We need to talk to you and dad." 

"Go sit on the couch. Andy! Echo and Haven are here!" She called as Haven and I sat down on the couch. Haven gripped my hand and my heart started to beat faster. I had no idea how my dad was going to react.

My parents walked into the living room and sat on the couch opposite from us.

"So, what'd you want to tell us?" My dad asked.

"Well," I started, Haven moving a bit so it was easier to run if he had to. "I'm pregnant." I said, my mom's jaw dropped and my dad stayed silent.

"That's great!" My mom exclaimed, running over to me and hugging me tightly and then going to hug Haven.

"Dad?" I asked.

"I'm happy for you guys." He said, flashing a smile. "I mean, I'm going to be a grandpa, that's great!"

"R-Really?" Haven asked and my dad nodded.

"You're not mad?" I asked.

"Echo, you are almost twenty years old. You are an adult now and I need to start treating you like one. I'm happy for you guys." My dad said.

"Thanks dad." I said, going over to hug him. "I love you."

"I love you too." He said.
