Chapter 76: Disneyland

ECHO'S POV

I woke up the morning of our trip, Haven shaking me awake. We both took a week off of work so we could have a nice, long vacation.

"So, you're still not going to tell me where we're going?" I asked as I got dressed.

"Nope." He smiled, I sighed and grabbed the bag that I had packed the previous night. He grabbed his bag and mine and I followed him out to the car. I got in the passenger side while Haven loaded our bags into the trunk. He got into the driver's side and pulled out of our parking space.

"I'm going to sleep." I said and he nodded. I leaned my seat back and quickly fell back asleep.

"Echo, we're here." Haven said, shaking me awake.

"You do realize this is the second time you've woken me up today." I said, pulling my seat back up and stretching. I opened my eyes and all I saw was a hotel.

"Um, we're at a hotel?"

"Yeah." He smiled. 

"So, you're not even going to tell me the general location of where we are?" He shook his head and opened his door. I rolled my eyes and got out as well. Haven grabbed both of our bags and I took mine from him.

"Reservation for Purdy." He said to the lady behind the desk.

"You are room 505, here are two keys." She smiled.

"Thanks." He said and we went to the elevators. We walked in and pressed the 5 button, the elevator going up to the fifth floor. We walked out and quickly found our room, Haven using one of the keys to open the door.

I walked in to see it was a room with a bathroom and a single bed. There was a desk and a TV, with a few lamps and a chair or two. Nothing too expensive or fancy.

"Now, time for the surprise." He smirked, grabbing my hand and dragging me out of our room. We went out of the hotel and sat on a bench outside of the hotel.

"Um, sitting on a bench?"

"Just wait." He said and I rolled my eyes. A shuttle pulled up and we got on, finding seats. I watched out the window as we drove. I saw a familliar site and my face lit up.

"Disneyland?" I asked and he nodded with a smile. "I haven't been here in years!" I exclaimed. With school and my parents' bands, we haven't gone to Disneyland since I was a kid.

"Then it's perfect! I figured for a vacation, we should go someplace that's not too far from home and won't make us go broke, but it's still fun."

"I love you Haven."

"I love you too." He laughed, kissing my lips. The shuttle stopped outside and we got off, running up to the gates. We stood in line and waited until we were let in.

We messed around the entire day, going on as much rides as we could. At the end of the day, before we had to get on the shuttle, we stopped at one of the gift shops.

"I want this!" I exclaimed, grabbing a silver pair of mouse ears that were covered in silver sequins. Haven picked up a plain pair of black ones and I nodded, putting it on his head. We bought them and went to go wait for the shuttle back to our hotel.

I pulled out my phone and took a picture of Haven and I with our mouse ears on. We got on the shuttle and rode back to the hotel, going up to our room. We got ready for bed and laid down in the bed next to each other.

"I had a great time today Haven, thank you."

"Anything for you." He said, kissing my lips and holding me close.
