ECHO'S POV

*A Few Days Later*

"Hey Echo, you feeling any better?" Haven asked as he walked in after work.

"I need to talk to you." I said. It was now or never.

"What is it?" He asked, sitting dow next to me.

"Uhm, it's really important and I don't want you to freak out."

"What is it Echo?" He asked, worry rising in his voice.

"So, I might be pregnant."

"Might?"

"You see, I took a test, but those aren't one hundred percent correct. But, I didn't want to make an appointment yet because I felt like you might want to go to the appointment since you were so into a baby like a year ago but now I don't know how you feel and I'm scared that taking care of Legacy kinda drove you away from the idea and-" He cut me off by pressing his lips to mine.

"I'm excited! I mean, I'm going to be a father. It's what I've always wanted! I'll be there right by your side the whole time and I'll be there when you need me and I'll be the perfect human being."

"Thanks Haven." I laughed, kissing his lips.

I sat in the waiting room with Haven. I had told him yesterday and had an appointment made for today, and he took off work to come with me.

"Echo Biersack?" I stood up and followed the nurse down the hall, Haven following me. She took my weight and measurements before taking me to a room. I got up on the table, Haven sitting in a chair next to me as she left. 

Haven and I talked a bit while we waited for the doctor to come in.

"Hello Echo, Haven, how are you two doing today?" My doctor asked, walking in.

"Just fine." I said.

"So, you think you're pregnant?" She asked and I nodded.

"I took a home test, but wasn't sure."

"Okay, well let's take a look. Lie on your back and lift your shirt up." I did as she told me and I grabbed Haven's hand. She squeezed the gel on my stomach and moved the ultrasound wand around.

"There's your baby." She said, pointing to a figure on the black and white screen.

"S-So, I'm pregnant?"

"Yup, congratulations." She smiled. "Do you want the picture?" She asked and I nodded. She printed out the picture and turned off the machine, wiping off my stomach before handing the picture to me. She got up and left. I sat up and pulled my shirt down. Haven gripped my face and passionatley kissing my lips.

"I'm so happy." Haven said, taking the picture from me and looking down at it with the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face. I jumped down from the table and he hugged me. He placed his hand on my stomach, rubbing it a bit. He bent down, putting his face right next to my stomach.

"I'll always protect you." He whispered and then stood up. "Both of you." He smiled at me, kissing me again.
