For a moment, I managed to forget the ache that had been weighing on me. Jackson's presence faded from my mind, replaced by a rare sense of pure enjoyment. The setting was perfect—bonfire crackling softly, the scent of marshmallows melting into gooey s'mores, and a gentle breeze stirring through the trees. I reached for my guitar, instinctively strumming the familiar chords of "Nothing Like Us" by Justin Bieber. It's a song that always hits deep, a comforting refuge that resonates with my own unspoken feelings.

As I played, Jungkook and Taehyung joined in, harmonizing effortlessly. Their voices intertwined, creating a soothing melody that seemed to suspend time. Sarah and I closed our eyes, losing ourselves in the harmony of V's and Jk's voices. Jin, on the other hand, sat on his seat, dramatically dancing along, adding a touch of playful energy to the scene. The way Taehyung and Jungkook blended their voices was mesmerizing—so calming that I almost felt myself drifting into sleep, yet I was captivated by how beautiful it all was. These boys truly have a talent for making the moment feel almost sacred.

When the song ended, I looked around and saw Sarah, Michelle, and myself clapping softly. Jungkook and Taehyung shared a shy smile, their small performance appreciated just among us—Jin, Sarah, Michelle, and me.

"I can't believe I'm hearing BTS perform live," Sarah exclaimed, eyes wide with awe.

I didn't quite share her amazement. Having grown up listening to them, I'd heard their voices countless times. Still, there was something special about witnessing it in this intimate setting, so genuine and raw.

"You guys are incredible," I told Jungkook, giving him a quick pat on the back.

Soon, the rest of our group gathered around. Joan and Angela, soaked from the rain, sat beside Michelle, who looked irritated, trying to keep some distance from Joan to avoid getting wetter. Namjoon and J-Hope settled beside Jin, while Jimin and Suga found spots near Jungkook. With everyone present, the atmosphere shifted into one of shared anticipation.

"Why don't you all sing for us?" Jin suddenly suggested, breaking the silence.

Joan and I exchanged hesitant glances. "Oh, no," Joan replied, a hint of a smile. "We're not as talented as you guys. It's better if you sing for us."

Angela chuckled. "Or at least, George should sing. She's the best among us."

The words hit unexpectedly. I froze, feeling a mix of embarrassment and a strange pride. Angela was right—I was a little talented, but I believed I had more to prove.

"Sing for us, George," Jungkook pleaded, flashing his signature bunny smile, eyes hopeful.

I rolled my eyes. "Make Joan sing, she's better."

"They want to hear you, not me." Joan argued softly.

"No, they want to hear us," I emphasized, my voice steady despite the nerves fluttering inside.

Michelle sighed, "Why don't both of you just sing?"

Jin nodded in agreement. "Good idea."

Joan and I exchanged a resigned look, then I took the guitar, feeling a little defeated. Jin moved aside to let me sit, and Joan settled beside me so we could harmonize better. Jin sat where Joan had been, giving us space to focus.

"What should we sing?" Joan whispered, voice quiet but eager.

"All in my head?" I said without hesitation. We both loved that song—its vulnerability, the way it captured complex emotions with simplicity. We knew we sounded best together on this track, making it the perfect choice.

"Okay," Joan nodded, her eyes shining with anticipation.

Jungkook leaned forward with a grin. "What are you guys singing?"
