22. New neighbour pt2

Party time...

Me and Y/B/F/N were getting ready for the little party we were holding to celebrate her engagement.
I'm very nervous though because she is coming to this party. I mean I've never liked a guy like this so fast it's all new but without trying to sound cliché he doesn't seem like every other guy he seems like a decent guy that wouldn't cheat or hurt you.

I put on a nice dress that looks like this

I was so nervous it was just something about him and I don't know what.

Party time.....

Me and Y/B/F/N walk down the stairs to see her now finacé, my mum some of our friends and the Mendes family which includes Shawn. My mum gasps at us both.

"My word you two look so grown up I can remember when you both were crawling everywhere." You can see a tear roll down her cheek."

"Mum don't get all emotional on me I'm still your little girl no matter what."

She smiles and j go over to hug her. The Macarena stays to play and I get dragged to dance by Y/B/F/N. We are dancing and she comes closer to me and whispers something to me.

"Hey Y/N Shawn is staring at you."

I look round and he is and staring contently. The song finishes and I walk over to him.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"So how are you Shawn? Enjoying your little time you have spent here?"

"I'm great thanks and yeah I'm enjoying it so far. By the way Y/N You look stunning."

I blush " Thank you and you aren't looking so bad yourself Mendes."

He chuckles. God that little chuckle is driving me wild.

"So for the hours you have been here what's the best part of it?"

"Well I would have to say meeting you because you have made moving easier for me plus you are a beautiful girl and very easy to get along with."

I blush again harder this time.

"Aw really that's sweet of you."

"So Y/N tell me do you have a boyfriend?" He smiles cheekily.

"No I do not ehat about you have you got a girlfriend?"

"Nope I am single."

"Ok."

A slow song comes on.

"Y/N would you like to dance?"

"I would leave to."

He takes my hand and leads me to dance I put my arms around his neck and his puts his hands on my waist and we start saying to the music.

"I know we have just met Y/N but something about you has me drawn to you. I find you really attractive and easy going and so down to earth. You seem easy to get along with and honestly you are the most beautiful girl I have seen in the world and I was wondering if you would like to go out some time like on a date?"

"I would love too."

"Great."

We danced till the song ended and talked for what felt like forever well until he had to leave. He gave me a kiss on the cheek as he was leaving.

I get a message as soon as I get upstairs off Shawn.

Shawn🤘~ be ready at 11 tomorrow this date is going to last the whole day so where whatever you think is comfortable for you xxx

Y/N 💖~ sounds great I can't wait xxx

The next day we went on the date and the was the start of our amazing relationship.
