I switched it up a little but I hope you like it.

Lately I've been feeling quite lonely. Shawn is never really around and I feel like he is lying to me most of the time about his where abouts.

I'm going out with his dad for lunch and surprise surprise Shawn has already left. What's really sad about that is that it's our anniversary today. Our 4 year anniversary of being boyfriend and girlfriend and I'm pretty sure he has forgotten.

I meet up with His dad and he can see I'm down.

"Hey Miranda what's wrong?" He asks as I sit at the table with him.

"Its just Shawn's been ignoring me lately and I barely see him anymore and I feel like he's lying to me. And when I talk asleep he's not there and when I wake up he's not there."

"Oh there must be a reason I know that my son is head over heels in love with you so if you are thinking what I think you are thinking about then I know he would never do that to you ok?"

"Ok."

We have a nice rest of lunch and then I head home. I go to unlock the door but it's already open. I walk in and see a trail of rose petals on the floor.

I follow the trail into the front room and see Shawn there in a tux on one knee with balloons spelling out will you marry me.

I put my hands over my mouth and I start crying. This is all so beautiful.

"Hi." He says.

"Hey."

"Ok so I wanted to say something obviously." He says making me chuckle.

"Look Miranda you are the most beautiful girl in the world. You are the most kind hearted and loving person on this earth. You make me feel like me when I'm with you and not just Shawn Mendes the singer. We have been together for 4 years today. We have had our ups and downs but we still made it through together even including distance we have been strong. You have always been there for me and been my biggest support and I've been yours. I love doing things with you. I love you. These past 4 years of my life have been incredible all because of you. You are my rock. You are my anchor. You keep me grounded. I have had so many amazing memories with you and I want many more. So Miranda will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

By now I was crying. I just nodded my head because I couldn't say anything I was speechless. He places the ring on my finger and got up.

He places a strand of hair behind my ear and whispers I love you. I whisper it back and then he kisses me. The kiss is sweet and passionate.

We pull away and I realise I have to tell him something.

"Now would be a good time to tell you something and don't worry it's good well I think it is."

"What's up Miranda?"

"Ok so I went doctors yesterday."

"Ok are you ok?"

"I'm fine. We both are."

"Both?"

"Yeah I'm pregnant."

"Oh my god this is amazing." He then picks me and spins me around.

"I'm going to be a dad. How far along are you?"

"Six weeks."

"Oh wow. I love you so so much my fiancee."

"I love you to my fiance."

After that I forgot my insecurietes about Shawn lying. I was pregnant and got engaged all at once and all with the man that I love. Life couldn't be better.
