So I was very heavily pregnant with mine and my husband Shawn's first child. At the moment he was on your and basically I'm due anytime around now. Shawn still manages to call me and check in on the both of us to make sure we are ok and doing well. He sings us both to sleep over the phone and just makes me feel better. Shawn is always there for me even if he isn't here physically he can change my mood from bad to good straight away. At the moment he was in Australia for his tour but I doubt mind because I knew he was having fun and would always come back home to me.

I am in our house when I start to feel a pain and I think it's a contraction.

I yelp out in pain and Shawn's mum and my mum come running into my room.

"Hunny is everything ok?"

"Call Shawn I think the baby is coming."

We hurry down to the hospital and I get checked in and my doctor comes in. I was right about having contractions and they kept getting worse and worse. I was only 2 cm and I'm being told that this is going to be a long birth because we can't start pushing her out until I hit at least 10cm and I've been told that won't be for a couple of hours maybe longer, maybe in a day we will find out.

"Mum I want Shawn. " I say while crying.

She pushes the hair out of my face and grabs my hand to hold.

"I know baby he will be here soon We called him and he's taken a private jet to get here as quick as he can."

I start crying harder.

"Calm down babes he will here soon plus your little boy doesn't want to come out yet maybe he's waiting for his daddy."

That makes me chuckle a little.

2 hours later....

I hear the door open and see Shawn.

I start crying again.

"Oh baby girl don't cry I'm here now and I will be here the whole entire time I promise. I love you and just remember this will all be worth it when we are holding our little prince."

"I love you." I manage to whisper out.

I then scream in pain and Shawn takes my hand the doctor comes in and says I'm ready I'm at 10cm so I can start pushing.

I start pushing holding onto Shawn.

"Come on baby you can do it keep pushing for me." Shawn says.

A few minutes later I hear cries. He has been born and I just lay there happy that the pain was over and happy that my little prince is here.

He gets wrapped in a towel and Shawn holds him first and he is caressing him and hugging him so closely. I then hold him and Shawn sits by my side and we cuddle.

"So I've taken time off tour and postponed it for now so I can spend some time with my wife and my son. I love you so much you wouldn't believe it."

"I love you too." We kiss for the first time in a while and it's amazing.

The doctor then comes in.

"So what you going to call him?"

"He is called Harrison Christopher Mendes." Shawn says proudly.

"What a lovely name. I'll leave you three alone for a while."

The doctor leaves and me and Shawn just look out our baby boy.

We couldn't be happier and we got to go home not long after because both me and the baby were healthy and got given the ok to go home.

This was something special. Me and Shawn were now parents. Life couldn't be more perfect.
