64. nightmare

I was sound asleep next to my boyfriend Shawn when I start to feel movement. I wake up and rub my eyes.

I look to the right side of me and see Shawn moving from side to side and he starts mumbling. I notice sweat dripping from his face.

I try to wake him up but he won't wake.

He's starting to say things.

"No Y/N please don't leave me."

"Why are you going?"

"I thought you loved me."

I am so confused what is he dreaming about. I really need to wake him up.

I start shaking him again.

"Shawn, hunny please wake up."

"SHAWN WAKE UP!!!"

Finally he has woken up. He sits up and puts his head in his hands and starts crying.

"Shawn hunny what happened did you have a nightmare?"

"Yeah." He quietly mumbles.

"Do you wanna talk about?"

"Yeah."

He looks at me with his red puffy eyes. I have never seen him so upset and distraught.

"Ok Shawn tell me what happened."

"Well...it was an ordinary day. I came home from tour and when I came into our apartment you were packing a bag. I asked why and you said because you found...y..y..you found someone else. You said he treated me better than I ever did. You said he was always here for you and was just better that all of me in general. You left me. I was crying and you still left me. What hurt the most is that when you said everything you had no emotion like you didn't care. You also walked out as if nothing hurt you and you didn't care about me anymore. You also said i was worthless and that I deserve no happiness or anyone to make me happy and marry me. That really hurt. It hurt so much because I've always been afraid of losing you and I did. I lost you."

I go to touch his hand but he moves it away.

"Shawn look I would never do that and you have not lost me nor will you ever."

"How do I know that Y/N? You could leave me any time you wanted."

"Shawn I'm not going to leave you because you are the love of my life. I am head over heels in love with you. Yeah I may be on my own from time to time but that's because you are doing what you love and making money to live on so I completely understand. Your are not worthless and I am going to be the one to marry you that's what I want. I want to be with you for the rest of my life Shawn. Don't ever think I will leave you because I couldn't if I tried. You are stuck with me whether you like. I love you Shawn and you are not going to lose me I promise."

"I'm sorry I doubted you and moved away when you tried to comfort me. It's just I don't want to lose you Y/N You are my everything."

"And I keep telling you that you aren't going to lose me. I love you too much plus you are my everything too."

He moves over too me and looks at me and places his forehead against mine. He then says..

"I love you."

"I love you too."

He then closes the gap and our lips touch and we kiss sweetly. I pull away and admire the handsomness in front of me.

"Do you want to back to sleep then?"

"Yeah, can we cuddle?"

"Of course we can Shawn."

I lie down and he lies down on my chest. I start playing with his messy curls.

"I love you so much Y/N never forget that."

"I love you too Shawn."

With that he fell asleep on me. He looked so peaceful and cute. Not longer after I fell asleep with him in my arms. I hope I don't lose this with Shawn. I certainly know that he's not going to lose me for anything I'm always going to be there. I love him so much he doesn't even know.

Times like these are perfect and magical.
