84. jealous

Me and Shawn were best friends and we were going out with my friends and his down to a club because we all deserve a break.

Me and my best friend were on our way while everyone else was already there.

Shawn was serving drinks when we got there I guess he found a new profession while I wasn't here.

"Hey Y/N You made it!"

"Yeah I did." I said giving him a hug.

Everyone else greets me and we all sit down at a table and talk.

Shawn is next to me and his arms around my shoulders most of the time but I don't mind we are this close and this is why people think we are a couple of should be one and honestly I think so too.

I like him a lot but he doesn't seem to notice that so I have given up.

Mine and my best friends song comes on.

"Y/N our songs on come on we have to dance."

"I don't want to." But she drags me anyway and I start dancing.

I see Shawn and the guys watching us. While dancing I see one if my friends that we didn't come out with who so happenes to be male and we start talking.

I look over and see Shawn and he doesn't look happy and I can see that his jaw is slightly clenched.

I ignore it and carry on talking for a few more minutes and then decide to say goodbye.

I sit back down next to Shawn.

"Hey." I say and he ignores me. Ok then. What have I done?

I decide to ignore him for the rest of the night he's not gonna stop me from having a good time with my friends.

He goes back to serving drinks.

"What do you think is wrong with shawn?" I ask my nest friend.

"I think he was jealous of you and your guy friend talking while you were dancing."

"Jealous?"

"Yes hunny jealous."

He is jealous of someone else. For some reason I don't believe it. Why would he be jealous? What does he have to be jealous of? I'm just me.

Brian comes back and I see no Shawn.

"Where's shawn?"

"He went home."

"Oh." Is all I could say. I stay a little longer then decide to leave. I tell them I'm going home but really I'm going to Shawn's.

I climb up the tree to his balcony. I knock on the window in hopes that he opens it.

He opens the curtains and sees me.

"What you doing here Y/N?"

"What was your problem tonight?"

"What do you mean my problem? There was no problem."

"Don't lie to me Shawn I can read you like an open book, just tell me what's wrong."

"You really want to know?" He says starting to raise his voice a little.

"Yes." I start raising my voice a little.

"Fine. I got into a mood because you seemed pretty cozy with that guy friend if yours and I was jealous." He says full on yelling now.

"Jealous?"

"Yes Y/N Jealous."

"But why, what do you have to be jealous of? I'm just plain old me Shawn I'm nothing special. I'm not even into him I like someone else."

"You like someone else? Who could you possibly like when you seemed pretty cozy with him?"

"You Shawn it's you." I blurt out yelling. As soon as I say that I cover my mouth with my hands.

"Me?"

"Yes you."

"I'm sorry for yelling and getting jealous it's just I like you also and I didn't want you to be with anyone but me."

"Well why didn't you just tell me?"

"Its not as easy as you think."

"I get that but I'm your best friend."

"I know."

There was a moment of awkward silence. I look away because I didn't know what to do.

I feel his presence behind me or next to me but I don't move or look.

He turns my head and kisses me. I kiss back and turn fully so I am facing him and wrap my arms around his neck.

We pull away and just stare at eachother.

"Be mine." He says.

"Of course." I say kissing him again.

We pull away and go through the window and into his room. He gives me a shirt so I change into that and then we cuddle up in bed.

I am glad Shawn got jealous otherwise we wouldn't be together right now or married and possibly might not have ever be together. Sometimes jealousy can be a good thing.
