Me and Shawn have been together for a couple of years and have only recently got engaged. The fans support as a couple and I'm happy with that because this means that me and him can be happy together without having to worry about fans hating on our relationship.

Recently I haven't been feeling all that great so Shawn said we needed to go to the doctors so he booked me an appointment. I told the doctors my symptoms and she said I would have to go for a ultrasound.

We got into the ultrasound and found out we were 6 weeks pregnant. Me and Shawn were over the moon and couldn't be more happier. This was going to be our first child.

We realised that the BRIT awards were soon so we decided we would tell everyone then that we were pregnant.

Today was the day of the BRIT awards and I'm actually quite nervous to announce that I'm pregnant. I've been award shows with Shawn before but this seems like the biggest one because we are announcing the start of our family.

I'm not really showing yet but let's just say our child is giving me some trouble with horrible morning sickness.

After being in the bathroom for a good 5 to 10 mins I walk out on to our hotel balcony because I see Shawn there.

"Hey Helly."

"Hey Shawn."

He pulls me in for a hug and kisses the top of my head.

"Everything alright?"

"Our little one really likes making their mummy sick."

"Aww." He leans down to my stomach.

"Little one will you please stop making your mummy sick she loves you very much and I don't like seeing your mummy sick." That makes me laugh. He comes back up and then kisses me and we both get ready for the BRITS.

We make it to the awards and start walking the red carpet together and taking photos. Shawn kisses me for some others we just hold eachother and pose.

Once photos are done we have interviews to go through. The first one we have is with Marvin humes from capital.

"Hey guys so we have Shawn Mendes and his fiancee Helly here with us right now. How's it going?"

"Its going good I have my girl with me which is even better."

"Yeah I see so how's everything with you both?"

"Amazing and we have an announcement to make. Me and Helly are having a baby. We don't know what gender yet but we are so excited to say that by the end of the year there will be a little Mendes in this world."

"Wow congratulations guys. I'm so happy for you both. You are going to have the cutest child ever."

"Thank you so much."

"Ok well I'll let you both enjoy the rest of your evening. Thank you for stopping by."

"Thank you and you too."

We did it. Its official we have made the statement to the world that we are pregnant. He kisses me as we walk.

"We did it princess."

"Yeah we did."

8 and half months later....

A day ago I brought our beautiful baby girl Ariel Catherine Mendes. She was so gorgeous and honestly me and Shawn didn't want to put her down at all. We wanted her with us at all time.

Me and Shawn have never been so happy. We have our little baby girl. Welcome Ariel Catherine Mendes.
