Tonight was date night for me and my husband shawn. I was getting ready for it while shawn was at work, I thought I would decorate the living room with rose petals and put some popery out.

I put some music on while I sort everything out so everything is perfect for our date night at home. Particular taste comes on and I start dancing around the living room enjoying my husband's music when I feel arms wrap around my waist.

"So you liking my music eh?" I hear shawn say knowing that he has a smirk on his face.

I turn around to face him with his arms still wrapped around me and I kiss him.

"What can i say i have the most talented husband in the world who not to mention is quite handsome."

"Oh really?"

"Yes really." He leans down and kisses me.

As we sit down the doorbell rings and shawn goes to get it. It may be date night but we have our friends Charlie and Camila over because they are dating so we all decided to have a double date night. Plus I had news I wanted to tell shawn specifically but them aswell.

We all sit down and talk for a bit until I pluck up the courage to say what I needed to say. I stand up and start talking.

"So guys I have something to tell you all."

"Everything alright hun."

"Yeah so what I want to tell you all is well I'm pregnant."

"You are? This isn't a joke it it?" Shawn aks.

"No shawn in being absolutely truthful. We are pregnant you are going to be a dad."

He walks over to me picks me and spins me around smiling like an idiot making me laugh. He puts me down and kisses me passionately.

"I love you so much Desiree."

"So does that mean you guys have been love making like 24/7 or because well whatever you did worked?" Charlie says making me blush.

Shawn goes behind me and grabs a pillow and throws it at him.

"Well congratulations guys I think me and Charlie will leave so you two can celebrate properly and celebrate just you two."

"Thank you bye guys." Me and shawn say.

"I'm so happy right now Desiree I'm so happy and so in love with you."

"Me too but before we celebrate I've been thinking since I found out a couple of days ago I've had a thought come across my mind and I wanna talk it out."

"Of course honey tell me what's on your mind."

"Well you know how my cousin Jessica has just had a baby well the father of her baby was really rude to her and just wasn't helpful and left her to fend for herself I just dont want that to happen to us and I'm worried it might because I'm going to get fatter and I dont think you would want to be seen with me like that and end up being rude."

"Look honey that's never going to happen because I love you to much. I would never ever dream of hurting you or our little girl or boy. I love you and I will love our little one with everything. I want to be there for everything. I love you so much."

"I love you too shawn I'm so sorry i had any doubts or worries."

"No honey it's ok you are allowed to feel certain ways."

"I love you shawn."

"I love you too Desiree."
