So today I'm being dragged to a concert by my best friend. My best friend absolutely love Shawn Mendes and that is who we are seeing. Not only that we have meet and greet tickets so I have to meet him. I'm not particularly into his music or him but I'll admit he has some good songs and is quite good looking. I'm only going so I can keep my best friend happy.

I make sure to wear something presentable so I go with a nice top with some light blue high wasted jeans. We get to the venue and she is screaming down my ear.

"Oh my god Amelia I'm going to meet Shawn right now."

"Yeah I know."

"Well you could at least look and sound enthusiastic."

"Yeah yeah come on let's get into the line."

We wait for a little while girls go and see him. Me and her walk in together and she goes first but I look up and see him looking at me the while entire time he's talking to my friend.

It's my turn to meet him.

"Hi there." He says.

"Hi."

"What's your name hun?"

"Its Amelia."

"This is going to sound cheesy but what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

"Thank you."

"What pose would you like to do?"

"Oh I didn't have one in mind."

"Right were you not expecting to meet me?"

"Not really I'm here for my friend she absolutely loves you."

"And you?"

"Don't get me wring you seem nice and you have good songs but you're a normal person like me so I feel like you shouldn't be mobbed all the time by girls ya know?"

"Yeah I get it. You're the first person to ever really think of me as a normal person. I like that because I do miss having privacy. "

"Ok guys loving the chat but we need this picture and you need to leave so Shawn can see evryoen else." The camera guy says.

"Ok sure." Shawn says hugging me from behind and the picture is taken.

"I'll see you around Amelia." He says.

I leave the room and see my best friend.

"Oh my god girl I saw the way Shawn was looking at you he liked you and even though you claim you don't like him I saw a little twinkle in you eye when you both made eye contact so don't even say you don'tlike him back."

I just laugh and drag her to the q&a room we sit down and Shawn walks in. He looks like he is searching for someone and then his eyes lands on me and he smiles.

The whole q&a is me and Shawn practically staring at eachother. There was just something about him. We wait for everyone to leave because there is a big crowd of people.

Before we leave I hear my name being called. I turn around and it's Shawn.

"Hey I was wondering could I..uh...may be get your number?"

"Yeah sure."

We exchange phones and then we leave and enjoy the concert.

When we leave I get a message.

Shawn~ hey hope you enjoyed the show tonight. Also I'm in town for a while and I could use a tour guide are you up for it? Xx

Me~ I had an amazing time thank you and sure I'll be your tour guide can't have you getting lost now can we? Xx

The next day I showed Shawn around and we had a really nice time. We went out practically everyday and hung out a lot while he was in town. Before he left for the rest if his shows he asked me out and I said yes.

That was the start of our beautiful relationship and that's what got us here today saying I do in front of all of our family. That day will never be forgotten because that's the day that I met the love of my life.
